1137 Macchina per sezionare bottiglie
Agr TopWave LLC ha realizzato Hot Wire Cutter, una nuova macchina per tagliare i contenitori di PET. Con questa soluzione l’azienda americana propone un metodo semplice e a costi ragionevoli per sezionare bottiglie e altri contenitori, al fine di effettuare analisi sul peso o sulla distribuzione dello spessore.
Hot Wire Cutter è formato da una piattaforma regolabile su cui appoggiare la bottiglia e da un braccio di taglio dotato di fili ad alta resistenza e lunga durata, che possono essere spaziati con precisione. La recisione del contenitore avviene in un tempo inferiore ai cinque secondi: una bottiglia da tre litri, per esempio, può essere tagliata in pochi attimi senza deformarne la sezione.
Fra le principali caratteristiche di Hot Wire Cutter, meritano un cenno il sistema di riscaldamento dei fili a doppia modalità, la staffa di appoggio regolabile, il righello di precisione e infine la possibilità di cambiare bottiglia senza strumenti.

Machine for cutting containers
Agr TopWave LLC has created Hot Wire Cutter, a new machine for cutting PET containers. With this solution the US concern proposes a simple method for cutting bottles and other containers in two at reasonable costs, this for carrying out weight and thickness distribution analyses.
Hot Wire Cutter is formed by an adjustable platform on which the bottle is laid and by a high resistance long service life cutting arm with wires, that can be precision set. The container is cut in less than five seconds: a three litre bottle for example can be cut straight off without deforming the section.
Among the main characteristics of Hot Wire Cutter, the twin mode wire heating system deserves a mention along with the adjustable supporting brace, the precision ruler and finally the possibility to change bottle without tools.

1138 Recupero degli imballaggi per liquidi
Sviluppata dalla società Egretier (F), Press-Packs è una macchina automatica per il recupero degli imballaggi di cartone o materiale plastico contenenti liquidi, in particolare latte o succhi di frutta. Grazie a Press-Packs, si possono recuperare e riciclare sia l’imballaggio sia il contenuto liquido, intatto e senza particelle inquinanti.
Press-Packs è composta da una vasca di pressatura incorporata in una tavola supportata da un telaio a 4 colonne; questo chassis supporta anche il gruppo idraulico e due piastre scorrevoli, una per la chiusura della parte superiore del serbatoio, l’altra che funge da tavola dove vengono disposti gli imballaggi da riciclare e che si trova all'interno della vasca. Gli imballaggi di tipo pack sono ammucchiati sulla tavola inferiore fino ad un’altezza di 1,15 m, ma possono anche essere scaricati alla rinfusa utilizzando una tramoggia amovibile alta 1,5 m. La vasca di recupero dei succhi ha una capienza utile di 200 litri ed è dotata di un vaglio a maglie di 8 mm, smontabile senza utensili, e di ugelli di polverizzazione antischiuma azionati da elettrovalvole. Il trasferimento automatico dei prodotti liquidi fino alla vasca rifiuti ha una portata fra i 3000 e i 4500 litri/h, secondo le quantità immesse.

Recovery of liquid packaging
Developed by the company Egretier (F), Press-Packs is an automatic machine for the recovery of cardboard or plastic packaging containing liquid, in particular milk or fruit juices. Thanks to Press-Packs, one can recover and recycle both the packaging and the liquid content, these also intact and without pollutant particles.
Press Packs is made up of a press tray incorporated in a table held up by a 4 column frame: this chassis also holds up the hydraulic unit and two sliding plates, one for closing the upper part of the tanks, the other that acts as a table with the packaging to be recycled that is inside the trough. The pack type packaging are heaped on the lower table up to a height of 1.15 m, but can also be unloaded in bulk using a movable hopper 1.5 m tall.
The juice recovery tray has an actual capacity of 200 litres and has an 8 mm sieve mesh, that can be disassembled without using tools, and electrovalve driven antifoam pulverisation nozzles.
The automatic transfer of the liquids to the waste trough has a capacity of between 3000 and 4500 litres/h, according to the quantities introduced.

Self-aligning supports
With an established presence on the market and much appreciated for its quality and performance in a broad range of industrial applications, from the food and dairy sectors to the bottling and general goods handling areas, Marbett's MB line (available in the rich Rexnord catalogue of conveyor belt solutions) includes a wide variety of self-aligning supports with bearings for shafts from 20 to 45 mm.
These supports offer excellent mechanical performance thanks to the use of premium glass-reinforced thermoplastic resins for the housing and top quality bearings, as well as offering an outstanding working life thanks to their high corrosion resistance. A key component of the support is the removable cover that isolates the bearing from the external environment and guarantees effective accident-prevention protection at the same time, not to mention the letting one inspect the bearing. The other novelties from Rexnord include side supports with three fastening holes for cantilever assemblies, take-up versions, oval flange supports with a stainless steel covering for max hygiene and, finally, the brandnew versions with the Microban® antibacterial for the food industry.
