1131 Macchine confezionatrici
Nata nel 1952 e specializzata nella produzione di macchine confezionatrici, Seram (Parma) ha acquisito nel tempo un know-how tecnologico d’avanguardia, che le consente di offrire al mercato impianti personalizzati, affidabili, versatili e di facile utilizzo. I due sbocchi più importanti della produzione Seram riguardano il confezionamento in imballi flessibili e in contenitori rigidi: possono essere trattati prodotti granulari, polverosi e di piccola pezzatura (pasta corta, caramelle, prodotti solubili e liofilizzati, olive, caffè, farina, spezie macinate ecc.).
La flessibilità e la modularità degli impianti Orion e Fairy (foto), per il confezionamento in buste sottovuoto e in atmosfera modificata, e della serie RTS destinata al riempimento, sigillatura, tappatura/aggraffatura ed etichettatura di barattoli o vasetti, consentono di realizzare produzioni mirate a soddisfare le esigenze di ogni cliente, con conseguente risparmio nel costo degli impianti. Le linee possono essere fornite con sistema di pesatura ponderale o con dosatori volumetrici, in relazione al tipo di prodotto da trattare.

Packaging machines
Founded in 1952 and specialising in the manufacture of packaging machines, over the years Seram (Parma) has acquired cutting-edge technological expertise, which allows it to offer equipment which is personalised, reliable, versatile and easy to use.
Seram’s two most important production outlets are concerned with packaging in flexible materials and in rigid containers: these are used for products in granular form, powder or small pieces (short pasta, sweets, soluble and freeze-dried products, olives, coffee, flour, ground spices etc.).
The flexibility and modular nature of the Orion and Fairy (photo) equipment, for packaging in vacuum-pack and in modified atmosphere bags, and the RTS series intended for the filling, sealing, capping/seaming and labeling of cans and jars, allow the company to manufacture products able to meet the needs of every customer, with a consequent saving in equipment costs. The lines can be supplied with check weighing systems or volumetric dosers, depending on the type of product to be handled.

1132 Sensore analogico fotosensibile
Wenglor Sensoric introduce un’importante novità nel campo dei sensori analogici ad alta risoluzione. La nuova serie, denominata CP, funziona con emissione laser e ricezione con linea di fotodiodi, garantendo così un’uscita indipendendente dalle caratteristiche superficiali degli oggetti da misurare. Grazie a questa caratteristica è possibile affrontare in maniera affidabile la misurazione di superfici riflettenti di qualsiasi colore.
I nuovi sensori sono molto versatili non solo per le caratteristiche sopra descritte, ma anche per la possibilità di selezionare il tipo di uscita tra 0-10 V , 4-20 mA o interfaccia RS232, semplicemente premendo un apposito pulsante posto sul sensore stesso. La serie CP è disponibile in tre versioni con campi di lavoro 30-80, 40-160 e 50-350 mm ed è racchiusa in una custodia IP67 con connettore ruotabile M12x1, di soli 50x50x20 mm.

Light sensitive analog sensor
Wenglor Sensoric introduces an important breakthrough in the field of high resolution analog sensors.
The new CP series uses laser emission and reception with a line of photodiodes, thus guaranteeing independent output from the surface characteristics of the objects to be measured. Thanks to this characteristic, reflecting surfaces of any color can now be reliably measured. The new sensors are highly versatile, not just on account of the above, but also because they offer the chance to select the output type (0-10 V, 4-20 mA or RS232 interface) by simply pressing a button on the sensor itself. The CP series comes in three versions with working ranges of 30-80, 40-160 and 50-350 mm and is housed in an IP67 case with an M12x1 rotating connector measuring just 50x50x20 mm.

1133 Gas per atmosfera protettiva

Grazie all’uso di gas e miscele specifiche ad uso alimentare, i cibi confezionati con i gas di Siad mantengono più a lungo le loro qualità, sapore, profumo e colore; oltre alle miscele standard, l’azienda di Bergamo è in grado di studiare e sviluppare specifiche miscele di azoto, anidride carbonica e ossigeno in funzione delle diverse esigenze dei clienti. L’azoto liquido, direttamente a contatto con il prodotto da surgelare, consente un raffreddamento rapido degli alimenti, tale da ridurre le perdite per disidratazione, evitare il danneggiamento della struttura cellulare e mantenere inalterato l’aspetto superficiale. Siad offre inoltre impianti e attrezzature dedicate alla surgelazione con gas criogenici, tunnel e armadi criogenici nonché impianti specializzati per la surgelazione IQF (Individual Quick Freezing), ideali per prodotti alimentari in pezzi o di piccole dimensioni (carne, pesce, pasta, funghi, fragole ecc.) impedendo che questi si attacchino tra loro.

Gas for protective atmosphere
An international group, leader for more than 75 years in the production and marketing of industrial, special and medicinal gases and related services, Siad SpA offers Foodline®, an exclusive line for food packaging in protective atmosphere. Thanks to the use of specific gases and gas mixtures for use with foodstuffs, the foods packed with Siad gases maintain their qualities of flavour, smell and color for much longer. Other than standard mixtures, the Bergamo based concern can devise and develop specific mixtures of nitrogen, carbon dioxide and oxygen according to the diverse requirements their customers. Liquid nitrogen, directly in contact with the product to be deep-frozen, allows rapid cooling of the foods, such as to reduce losses by dehydration, avoiding damage to the cellular structure and maintaining the surface appearance unaltered. Siad can also offer plants and equipment for deep-freezing with cryogenic gases: from cryogenic tunnels and cupboards to specialized plants for cryogenic deep-freezing, IQF (Individual Quick Freezing), ideal for deep-freezing and frosting food products in pieces or of small sizes (meat, fish, dry pasta, mushrooms, strawberries etc.) without them sticking together.

1134 Rilevamento pluridimensionale
Rispetto al precedente modello, il nuovo sistema di misurazione laser LMS 400 lanciato all’ultimo Bias da Sick presenta ingombri ridotti e maggiori potenza e prestazioni; inoltre, la risoluzione angolare, portata a 0,1°, consente di rilevare gli oggetti con una precisione particolarmente elevata. Il sistema è in grado di riconoscere le strutture più essenziali, di rilevare gli oggetti in 2 o 3 dimensioni e di classificarli di conseguenza. Inoltre, consente di ispezionare involucri e contenitori si sistemi di convogliamento con una frequenza di scansione di 500 Hz e con una velocità 6 volte superiore di rilevamento a distanza.
La griglia angolare più fine e risoluzioni più precise permettono di gestire applicazioni pick & place anche molto complesse. LMS 400 si connette tramite Ethernet, RS 422 e 232, bus CAN, nonché ingressi e uscite digitali.

Pluridimensional reading
Compared to the preceding model, the new laser LMS 400 measuring system by Sick presents low bulk and greater power and performance; as well as that, the angular resolution, brought to 0.1°, enables the reading of objects with a particularly high precision.
The system, launched during last Bias, is capable of recognising the simplest of structures, reading objects in 2 or 3D and consequently classifying them. As well as that, it enables the inspection of outer coverings and containers on conveying systems with a 500 Hz scanning frequency and with a speed 6 times that of remote reading. The finer angular grading and more accurate resolutions enables the running of even complex pick & place applications. LMS 400 connects via Ethernet, RS 422 and 232, CAN bus, as well as by digital inputs and outputs.

1135 Confezionamento in atmosfera protettiva
Vacuum Pump SpA (Beverate di Brivio, LC) ha messo a punto un nuovo tipo di confezionamento per prodotti freschi in atmosfera protettiva. Il sistema, coperto da brevetto, punta a estendere la shelf del prodotto, conservando l’aspetto “artigianale” delle confezioni usate dalla grande distribuzione.
La scelta del contenitore è caduta su una vaschetta preformata con coperchio, termosaldabile, pelabile e richiudibile. La confezionatrice messa a punto per questo procedimento è il modello GV80 che, grazie a opportuni adeguamenti nella struttura e nei cicli, è ora in grado di sigillare sia le nuove vaschette con coperchio richiudibile sia quelle con film tradizionale. Altra possibilità offerta dalla macchina è di confezionare prodotti con effetto “skin”.
Il modello GV80 è stato poi affiancato dal GV90, per produzioni più elevate.

Packaging in protective atmosphere
Vacuum Pump SpA (Beverate di Brivio, LC) has managed to devise a new type of packaging of fresh products in protective atmosphere. The system, patent pending, aims at extending the shelf-life of some foodstuffs while at the same time preserving the “handicraft” appearance of the packs used by broadscale distribution.
The choice of containers fell on a preformed tray with lid, that is heatsealable, peelable and reclosable. The packaging machine set up for this procedure is the model GV80 that, thanks to suitable adaptation in structure and cycles, is now capable of sealing both the new trays with reclosable lids as well as traditional film. Other possibilities offered by the machine is that of packing “skin” effect products. The GV80 is also joined by the GV90, suited for higher output.

1136 Marcatore thermal inkjet
In alternativa alla marcatura a getto d’inchiostro, Todini Srl (Maccarese, RM) mette a disposizione il sistema di stampa Wolke m 600, basato sulla tecnologia thermal inkjet di Hewlett Packard.
La macchina è costituita da un’unità per la programmazione del messaggio da stampare (dati variabili, codici a barre loghi ecc.) con risoluzione fino a 600 dpi e velocità fino a 300 m/min, in grado di gestire fino a 4 teste indipendenti collegate da cavi da 3 a 10 m. Ogni testa opera su un’area di stampa di 12,7 mm in altezza, in cui riproduce più righe di testo o un singolo macrocarattere.
Wolke m 600 è in grado di operare in ambienti umidi o polverosi (IP 65) ed è corredato di uscite I/O per i segnali di livello e i vari allarmi. Utilizza inchiostri base acqua, neri e a colori, in cartucce a pressione da 42 ml. Inoltre, permette di selezionare la risoluzione di stampa desiderata, ottimizzando i consumi. Un esempio: con una cartuccia si possono stampare da 350.000 a oltre 700.000 messaggi “tipo”, composti da numero di lotto e data di scadenza, con 12 caratteri di altezza 3 mm disposti su 2 righe.

Inkjet thermal markers
Todini Srl (Maccarese, RM) proposes the Wolke m 600 print system in alternative to inkjet marking, based on the thermal inkjet technology by Hewlett Packard. The machine is made up of a unit for programming print messages (variable data, barcodes logos etc.) with resolution up to 600 dpi and speed up to 300 m/min, capable of running up to 4 heads independently connected to 3 to 10 m cables. Each head operates over a print area 12.7 mm high, for reproducing more than one line of wording or a single macrocharacter. Wolke m 600 can operate in damp and dusty areas (IP 65) and has an I/O outlet for level and alarm signals. It uses waterbased inks, black and colored, in 42 ml pressurised cartridges. As well as that you can select the print resolution required, thus optimising consumption, An example: with a cartridge 350,000 to 700,000 standard messages can be printed, made up of lot number and best before date, with 12 characters 3 mm high set out on two lines.
