Umbra Packaging (Assisi, PG) presenta la serie di linee d’insacco denominate UP 1000 (modelli M e G), insaccatrici automatiche per sacchi a bocca aperta in grado di lavorare sacchi di carta e carta politenata, polietilene o rafia, con o senza soffietti e maniglie.
Non è richiesto alcun intervento manuale né per il passaggio da un tipo di sacco a un altro, né per il cambio formato; si possono utilizzare sacchi di larghezza compresa fra 200 e 600 mm e di lunghezza fra 300 e 1.100 mm. La capacità di queste macchine di autoregolarsi con la semplice selezione del programma di lavoro, le pone all’avanguardia dal punto di vista della velocità produttiva (con capacità di 800-1.000 sacchi/ora) e della flessibilità di utilizzo.

Automatic bagging system
Umbra Packaging (Assisi, Perugia) presents the series of bagging lines known as UP 1000 (M and G models), automatic bagging systems for open-mouth bags, capable of filling bags in paper, polyethylene or PP raffia, with or without side gussets and handles. No manual intervention is necessary, either for the change of shape, or for the change of size; one can use bags ranging in width from 200 to 600 mm and in length from 300 to 1,100 mm. The ability of these machines to regulate themselves by simply selecting the work program places them in the vanguard from the point of view of their output (800-1,000 bags/hour) and of their flexibility of use.

1178 Ribobinatrici automatiche speciali
Le ribobinatrici automatiche prodotte da Tecnicol (Turate, CO) sono ideali per raggiungere alte cadenze produttive e ottenere bobine di qualità assicurando quindi buone prestazioni sul prodotto finito. Tutti i componenti utilizzati da Tecnicol si distinguono per affidabilità, precisione e disponibilità sul mercato. In particolare, ricordiamo la ribobinatrice 28-AV-46 per film rigidi di PVC e PET calandrati (con spessore da 100 a 1.000 micron). Qualche dato tecnico: larghezza bobine da 1.000 a 1.800 mm; diametro delle bobine riavvolte sino a 1.000 mm; velocità 200 m/min.

Special automatic winders
The automatic rewinders produced by Tecnicol (Turate, Como) are ideal for achieving high production cycles and obtaining high quality reels therefore guaranteeing high performance of finished products. All components used by Tecnicol are in the vanguard in terms of reliability, precision and market availability. We note Model 28-AV-46 for calendered PVC and PET rigid film (thickness from 100 to 1,000 micron). Some technical data: web width 1,000 to 1,800 mm; diameter of rewound reels up to 1,000 mm; speed 200 m/min.

1179 Etichettatrice per fiale
Per la multinazionale tedesca Aventis Pharma Deutschland, Krones ha sviluppato un’etichettatrice basata sul suo progetto Autocol, che non solo incorpora tutte le unità di monitoraggio necessarie, ma opera anche alla velocità di 60.000 fialette cilindriche/ora. I contenitori di vetro, chiusi, che sono etichettati hanno volumi nominali di 1,7 e 3 ml. Poiché questi piccoli contenitori sono poco stabili, il sistema di alimentazione dell’etichettatrice ha dovuto essere riprogettatato di conseguenza. I contenitori riempiti giungono all’etichettatrice in magazzini contenenti ognuno circa 800 elementi, dopo di che un operatore li inserisce nella macchina attraverso due tavoli di alimentazione. Per ottenere l’alto livello di produttività conseguito, Krones adotta due etichettatrici autoadesive APS 2, ognuna in grado di apporre, su 30.000 contenitori/ora, etichette avvolgenti da bobina.

Labeller for small ampoules
For the German pharmaceutical corporation Aventis Pharma Deutschland, Krones has developed a labeller based on its Autocol design, which not only incorporates all the requisite monitoring units, but also operates at the speed of 60,000 cylindrical ampoules per hour. The closed glass containers being labelled have nominal volumes of 1.7 ml and 3 ml. Since these small containers are not very stable, the labeller’s infeed situation had to be redesigned accordingly.
The filled containers arrive at the labeller in magazines each containing about 800 pieces, whereupon an operator feeds them into the machine via two infeed tables.
To achieve the high labelling output involved, Krones uses two APS 2 self-adhesive label applicators on this machine, each affixing reel-fed wrap-around labels at a speed of 30,000 containers an hour.

1180 Confezionatrici a controllo elettronico
Le confezionatrici TLM di Schubert rappresentano un potenziamento del sistema modulare SMB. Le nuove macchine, con caricamento dall'alto, sono compatte e semplici da usare, e tutte le loro funzioni sono ora più accessibili. Le confezionatrici TLM si distinguono per la loro flessibilità, l’universalità di impiego e il controllo elettronico.
Fra le innovazioni, ricordiamo il sistema di trasporto sottovuoto e il design particolare dell’unità di trasporto delle scatole oltre al dispositivo di formazione del cartone che può essere regolato per adattarsi alle diverse dimensioni e materiali delle scatole, senza bisogno di cambi-formato. Inoltre, grazie alla progressiva attribuzione delle funzioni meccaniche al software di controllo, la gestione della macchina si è ulteriormente semplificata.

Electronically controlled packaging machines
TLM top loading packaging machines by Schubert are an enhancement to the SMB modular system. The new machines are space-saving in design and user friendly as all functions are now more accessible.
TLM packaging machines are distinguished for being flexible, universally deployable and electronically controlled machines. Among the innovations, we note the vacuum transport rake and the unique design of the box transporting unit, as well as the CNC-controlled carton erecting unit that can be adjusted to suit all standard carton sizes and material, without the need for a format change.
The number of mechanical functions has been reduced by locating as many of them as possible in the control software.

1181 Astucciatrice verticale
L'astucciatrice verticale FT300 di Senzani confeziona caramelle o chewing gum in astucci tipo "flip top" a velocità di circa 300 astucci/min. Dotata di contatore meccanico, può evitare l'estrazione dell'astuccio in caso di conteggio errato e recuperare il prodotto nel caso l'astuccio non sia presente sotto la zona di dosaggio. La FT 300, che completa una gamma di macchine dalle prestazioni fino a 600 astucci/min, può lavorare con diversi sistemi di dosaggio e montare, su richiesta, dispositivi di rapido cambio formato.
Tra le nuove proposte anche l'incartonatrice tipo S 2000-FA che, grazie al braccio robotizzato, colloca gli scatoloni vuoti nella zona di apertura/riempimento, dopo averli prelevati dal pallet e preleva quelli pieni in uscita dalla macchina palettizzandoli secondo lo schema prestabilito.

Vertical casing machine
The Senzani FT300 vertical casing machine packages sweets or chewing gum in “flip top” type cases at a speed of approximately 300 cases/minute.
Equipped with a mechanical counter it can prevent the case being extracted if the count is mistaken and retrieve the product if the case is not in the filling zone.
The FT300, which completes a range of machines with a performance of up to 600 cases/minute, can work with various systems of dosing and be fitted, where required, with rapid format change devices.
Among the new proposals there is also the S2000-FA type wrapping machine which, thanks to its robotic arm, places the empty boxes in the opening/filling area after taking them off the pallet and picks up the full ones emerging from the machine palletising them according to a pre-established procedure.

La blisteratrice GL 23 prodotta da Tecnomaco Italia (Aprilia, LT) è la soluzione ideale per il confezionamento in blister da parte di piccoli e medi laboratori farmaceutici.
Il cambio formato, molto rapido, può essere effettuato dallo stesso operatore addetto al confezionamento, senza l’ausilio di un meccanico. La GL 23, compatta, è pannellata in acciaio inossidabile. Ne ricordiamo alcune caratteristiche tecniche: velocità: da 50 a 120 blister/min; materiale plastico: diametro interno della bobina da 70 a 76 mm, esterno 400 mm, spessore da 150 a 400 micron; materiale di copertura: diametro interno della bobina da 70 a 76 mm, esterno 250 mm, spessore da 18 a 30 micron.

Blistering machine for small production
The GL 23 - produced by Tecnomaco Italia (Aprilia, Latina) - is the perfect solution for blistering small and medium production batches. The change in size parts is simple and fast, and it can be done by the line operator without the help of a technician. The very compact GL 23 has all its panels in stainless steel. We note some technical data: output: 50 ÷120 blister/min; plastic material: reel inner diameter 70 ÷76 mm, outer 400 mm, film gauges 150 ÷400 micron; coverfoil: reel inner diameter 70 ÷76 mm, outer 250 mm, film gauges 18 ÷30 micron.

Da oltre 25 anni, TGM (Urgnano, BG) progetta e costruisce macchine automatiche in grado di riempire, all’ora, fino a 12.000 tubetti di metallo, polietilene, polifoil e laminati.
L’azienda lombarda esegue progetti su richiesta per imballi particolari come mascara, dentifricio a due o tre colori, cartucce, flaconi di alluminio, dispenser e siringhe. Tutti i modelli TGM, dalle versioni standard a quelle speciali, sono costruiti secondo le più recenti Direttive CEE relative alle industrie chimica, farmaceutica e omeopatica, veterinaria, cosmetica e alimentare. Tube filling and sealing machines
For over 25 years, TGM (Urgnano, Bergamo) has been designing and manufacturing automatic machines with a filling capacity per hour of up to 12,000 tubes in metal, polyethylene, polyfoil and laminate.
The Lombard company produces designs to order for special packaging such as mascara, two and three colour toothpaste, cartridges, aluminium bottles, dispensers, syringes. All TGM models, whether standard or special, are built according to the latest EEC Directives referring to the chemical, pharmaceutical, homeopathic, veterinary, cosmetic and food industries. Among the machines built by TGM, we note the E 250 Semi, E 250 Matic, S 420 Compact, S 400 Prima, B 600 Master, B 620 Maxi and T 200 Double.

1184 Pesatrice a 16 teste
Ishida ha messo a punto una pesatrice a 16 teste dotata di quattro scarichi che collocano, mediante un sistema di imbuti, le quantità precise dell’ingrediente desiderato in quattro confezioni diverse. La macchina, adottata per il confezionamento di minestre in scatola, è dotata di 16 tramogge ausiliarie che consentono di raggiungere una velocità di 100 scatolette/min.
La struttura particolare consente una pulizia totale della macchina nel corso della giornata lavorativa e assicura l’igienicità del prodotto; si impiega infatti meno di un’ora per rimuovere e pulire tutte le parti che entrano a contatto con gli alimenti, lavare il telaio impermeabile e rimontare il tutto.
L’adozione del sistema Ishida, ha consentito all’azienda svedese Barteroder Feinkost (minestre in scatola) di ridurre, in un anno, i tempi morti dal 25% a quasi zero.

Sixteen-headed weigher
Ishida has devised a 16 headed weigh machine fitted with four outfeeds that by way of a system of funnels connects up the quantity of ingredients desired in four different packs. The machine, adopted for canning soup, is fitted with 16 auxiliary hoppers that enable the attainment of 100 cans/min. The special structure enables a total cleaning of the machine during the working day and ensures product hygiene; one in fact needs less than an hour for removing and cleaning all the parts that come into contact with foodstuffs, wash the waterproof chassis and reassemble everything.
The adoption of the Ishida system has enabled the Swedish company Barteroder Feinkost (canned soups) to reduce downtime from 25% to virtually nil in a year.
