Advanced technology combined with experience permit Scandolara to offer reliable and innovative aluminium tubes, with plastic nozzles, enamelled shoulders, five-colour printing, guaranteed internal protection and irradiative sterilisation (diameters 13.5 to 40 mm). This range is flanked by laminated tubes; the quality of the printing is decidedly better, making the container particularly suitable for tooth pastes and cosmetics. Available diameters from 22 to 40 mm.
The Milanese company provides also a vast range of polyethylene tubes, with diameters from 19 to 50 mm, for a wide spectrum of market needs. A dedicated screen printing and hot foil stamping department has been set up within the group.

La gamma di vasetti di plastica offerta dall’azienda lombarda, per esempio, comprende sia vasetti a doppia parete in SAN, con capacità da 5 a 250 ml, sia mono parete di PP, con capacità da 100 a 1.000 ml. I flaconi di plastica, invece, di varie capacità, possono essere realizzati in PE, PVC, PET e PETG e corredati di chiusure a vite, capsule flip-top, pompe nebulizzatrici, dispenser.

Containers for cosmetics
Steba Srl (Arcore, MI) offers a wide range of containers and accessories for the packaging of cosmetics, from Baralan, MAV and M&H Plastics. The range of plastic jars offered by Steba, for an example, includes both double-wall jars made from SAN, holding 5 to 250 ml, and single-wall PP jars, holding 100 to 1,000 ml. Plastic bottles, with different volumes, are produced from PE, PVC, PET and PETG and can be fitted with screw-tops, flip-tops, spray pumps and dispensers. Steba can also supply different models of glass bottles, in both transparent and frosted glass, covering all types of container: from tiny bottles for nail varnish plus brush and cap, to perfume bottles plus top and spray pumps or for semi-fluid products. These glass bottles can hold anything from 4 to 165 ml and come with various types of closure.

1031 Imballaggi in braille per non vedenti
La mozzarella dell’azienda italiana Francia, oggi distribuita in un nuovo packaging sviluppato da Superfos, è uno dei primi beni di largo consumo commercializzati in Europa con scritte in braille sulla confezione. Nello sviluppo del nuovo imballaggio Superfos ha coinvolto l’istituto danese dei ciechi, in modo da poter meglio calibrare la dimensione e il posizionamento delle scritte in braille, così come gli altri fattori che influenzano la loro “leggibilità” al tatto.
Soddisfazione è stata espressa da Colin Low, presidente dell’unione europea dei ciechi (EBU), che auspica l’estensione delle scritte per ciechi anche alla data di scadenza e al numero verde a cui rivolgersi per ottenere informazioni sugli ingredienti dell’alimento. Molto positivo anche il commento del direttore della Francia, Alessandro Riccardi, che afferma: “La confezione in braille è stata lanciata per offrire un servizio in più a uno specifico target di consumatori, e siamo molto soddisfatti dell’accoglienza che le è stata riservata. “La nostra mozzarella - sottolinea ancora Riccardi - è commercializzata in tutta Europa e oggi Francia svolge un ruolo di pioniere sul mercato comunitario”.

Braille on pack for blind people
Mozzarella from italian firm Francia in a new packaging solution developed by the manufacturer Superfos, is one of the first fast moving consumer goods in Europe with braille on-pack. When presented with the idea from Francia, Superfos contacted The Danish Institute for Blind people, who has been involved in the entire development process to ensure quality of both size and placement of the braille as well as optimization to the feeling sense. Colin Low, President of the European Blind Union (EBU) hopes that it will also be possible to write the expiry date on the package and a phone number that blind or partially sighted people can call in order to get more information about the food ingredients. Director Alessandro Riccardi from Francia says: “We are very satisfied with the response to our new packaging. Braille on-pack is not launched as a new feature, but as an additional service to a specific target group and that is how it has been received. Our mozzarella is marketed all over Europe and, so far, we are pioneers on the market”.

1032 Reggiatrice per pallet
Emmedi presenta la nuova reggiatrice FP-Easy 20-R, studiata per la reggiatura in orizzontale di pallet. Alimentata da batterie, non richiede alcun cavo di alimentazione il che ne fa una postazione mobile capace di reggiare i pallet in qualunque luogo.
Le sue principali caratteristiche sono: tensione della reggiatrice da 3 a 70 kg; reggia utilizzabile: 6, 9, 12, 15,5; inverter per la regolazione della velocità del carrello del gruppo reggiatura; pulsante di salita e discesa del gruppo reggiatura; due batterie da trazione al gel da 12 volt (che non richiedono alcuna manutenzione); segnalatore stato batteria; caricabatteria incorporato. FP-Easy 20-R può reggiare pallet di qualsiasi lunghezza e larghezza, con altezza massima pari a 2.400 mm.
L’altezza minima reggiabile è di 300 mm, mentre quella massima è di 2.200 mm. Si possono effettuare oltre 600 cicli di reggiatura senza necessità di ricarica.

This battery-operated strapping machine has no cables, making the FP-Easy 20-R a mobile station capable of strapping pallets anywhere. The Value, Air and Power Print Apply 2000 Series by Arca Etichette (complete solutions for the self-adhesive packaging sectors) are suitable for all industrial contexts and guarantee high performance, even under extreme conditions.
The versions with compressed air are ideal for the pharmaceutical, food and chemical sectors, where all risk of contamination must be avoided. The Value model print and applies in real time on all sides of the product using compressed air applicators. The Air model print and applies in real time on any side of the product using compressed air applicators and is equipped with a separate control unit that can be positioned where most convenient for the operator.
The Power applies labels of any size - even at high speed (the application speed being dependent on the print speed) -, above, on one side, on the front or two sides of the product (corner). It works without compressed air and is also suitable for convex surfaces; supplied with separate electronics.

Con b maXX Drive PLC, b maXX Controller PLC e b maXX Soft PLC, Baumüller supporta, in base ai diversi usi e applicazioni, tutte le architetture di azionamento presenti sul mercato.
In particolare, la programmazione con Propog wt II, in base allo standard IEC 61131, assicura la compatibilità del software con tutti i concetti di azionamento. Per i tre diversi azionamenti sono disponibili identici strumenti di progettazione; in questo modo il cambio di piattaforma necessita solo di una modifica della risorsa. La scheda b maXX-Drive PLC elabora in 100 µs fino a 1000 linee AWL. Questo PLC offre elevata velocità e una molteplicità di task, tutte configurabili in modo flessibile. Il dispositivo compatto b maXX-Controller PLC soddisfa le possibili esigenze dei PLC e i compiti di controllo del movimento di macchine modulari. In particular the programming with Propog wt II based on IEC 61131 standards ensures software compatibility with all the drive concepts. Identical engineering tools are available for the different drives; thus the change from one platform to another only requires a modification of resources. The b maXX-Drive PLC board processes up to 1000 AWL lines in 100 µs. As well as high speed, this PLC offers a multiplicity of tasks, all flexibly configurable. The compact b maXX-Controller PLC satisfies the possible needs of the PLCs and the control tasks of modular machine movements. The hardware platform for the b maXX-Soft is b maXX IPC. Le prezzatrici-etichettatrici serie GLM-I della Bizerba si caratterizzano per velocità, funzionalità, semplicità di manutenzione e igiene. Grazie alla velocità di stampa (fino a 250 mm/s), alla tecnologia dei microprocessori a 32 bit e a un sistema modulare CAN-bus, la velocità di prezzatura a peso raggiunge 150 conf/min. Con GLM-I si possono raggruppare in una sola unità fino a 9 sottosistemi (es. nastri) e un numero illimitato di etichettatrici. Si possono applicare, tramite paletta rotante, stantuffo e getto d’aria etichette con larghezza di stampa fino a 168 mm; l’etichettatura viene effettuata dal basso. La modularità del sistema fa sì che tutti gli apparecchi di una linea di prezzatura possano essere gestiti da una stessa unità di visualizzazione e comando. Inoltre, la serie GLM-I è dotata del software di creazione etichette BLD e dell’interfaccia dati BCT.

The pricer-labelers GLM-I serie by Bizerba stand out for speed, functionality, simplicity of maintenance and hygiene. Thanks to their print speed (up to 250 mm/s), their 32 bit microprocessor technology and CAN-bus modular system, they achieve weight pricing speeds of up to 150 packs a minute. With the GLM-I series up to 9 subsystems (e.g. belts) can be grouped in the same unit along with an unlimited number of labelers. They also enable the application by way of rotating device, bellows or air-jet of labels with a print width of up to 168 mm; the labeling is done from the bottom up. The modular nature of the system means that all the devices in a pricing line can be run by the same command unit. As well as that, the GLM-I series is also fitted with BLD label creation software and BCT data interface. |
