744 Macchine blow-fill-seal
Weiler Engineering (Elgin, Illinois), rappresentata in esclusiva da Packaging 2000 di Milano, ha proposto il Modello Asep-Tech(tm) 640, per alte produzioni, destinato allo stabilimento della Alcon Laboratories di Kaysersber (F). Il modello va ad inserirsi nelle linee Blow-Fill-Seal già installate presso la multinazionale per aumentare la produzione dei prodotti oftalmici.
Asep-Tech(tm) è il nome scelto da Weiler Engineering per la nuova gamma di macchine con tecnologia integrale blow-fill-seal: all'interno di una sola macchina sono infatti integrati i processi di estrusione, soffiaggio e riempimento asettico per la produzione contenitori in LDPE, HDPE, o PP autoclavabile a 121 °C. Tra le applicazioni tipiche ricordiamo i prodotti oftalmici, le lavande vaginali, i disinfettanti e i prodotti parenterali.

Blow-fill-seal
Weiler Engineering (Elgin, Illinois) represented exclusively by Packaging 2000, Milan, has proposed the Asep-Tech (tm) 640 model for high levels of production, destined for the Alcon Laboratories plant in Kaysersber (F). The model will be part of the blow-fill-seal line already installed at the multinational to increase the production of ophthalmic products.
Asep-Tech (tm) is the name chosen by Weiler Engineering for the new range of machines with integral blow-fill-seal technology: within a single machine we find extrusion, blowing and sterile packing processes for the production of containers in LDPE, HDPE or PP which can be sterilised at 121° C.
Among its typical applications we note ophthalmic products, vaginal washes, disinfectants and injectable products.

745 Confezionatrici orizzontali e verticali
Grosso l'interesse suscitato dalle nuove confezioni Pocket Bag® open & reclose, prodotte dalla verticale Vetta e dalle flow wrap orizzontali BG2800 e Scirocco PB di PFM, che ha reinterpretato la tradizionale confezione del tabacco, adattandola ad altri prodotti (formaggio porzionato, grattugiato, anche in M.A.P., prodotti granulari fini, caramelle ecc.), proponendoli in confezioni richiudibili di film flessibile.
Interessante anche la linea cut & flow wrap Blizzard per bubble gum e toffee che taglia e confeziona, partendo da un ‘cordone’ di prodotto, a un ritmo di 1.600 cicli/min. Si può anche abbinare un’etichettatrice per l’inserimento di etichette adesive all’interno della confezione, con una cadenza d 1.500 conf/min.
Citiamo infine la linea composta dalla flow wrap orizzontale elettronica PFM Mistral, con tunnel di retrazione, ideato per ambienti climatizzati, a tripla camera coibentata per il confezionamento di pollo porzionato in vaschetta con film retraibile.

Horizontal and vertical packaging machines
A great deal of interest has been roused by the new open and reclose Pocket Bag packaging, produced by the vertical Vetta and the horizontal BG2800 and Scirocco PB flow wrap by PFM, which has reinterpreted traditional tobacco packaging, adapting it to other products (cheese portions, grated cheese, in M.A.P. too, fine powdered products, sweets etc.). proposing them in reclosable flexible film packages.
The Blizzard flow wrap cut & flow line for bubble gum and toffee which cuts and wraps starting from a “string” of product, at a rhythm of 1,600 cycles/minute is also interesting. You can also combine a labelling machine which applies sticky labels on the inside of the packaging, at a rhythm of 1,500 packs/min.
Finally we note the line composed of electronic PFM Mistral horizontal flow wrap, with a retraction tunnel, invented for air-conditioned environments with a triple isolating chamber for the packaging of chicken portions in trays with shrink film.

Software solutions for pharmaceuticals

747 Confezionatrici verticali, orizzontali e angolari
Il Gruppo RGD è specializzato nella costruzione di macchine verticali, orizzontali, tipo flow pack, termoretraibili angolari e termosigillatrici.
Nell'ambito delle verticali, tipo form-fill-seal, RGD ha presentato il mod. VR-13 che può montare dosatori di varie tipologie. Nonostante le ridotte dimensioni, questa macchina risulta particolarmente robusta e versatile.
Il modello VR-1 Bis, invece, è una confezionatrice orizzontale, tipo flow pack, che può essere inserita in linee complete e dotata di accessori complementari.
Grazie all'esperienza maturata, RGD è in grado di studiare soluzioni di confezionamento “a misura” di cliente, con linee che includono accessori quali controllo peso, pesatrici, etichettatrici, caricatori automatici.

Vertical, horizontal and angular packaging machines
The RGD Group is specialised in the construction of vertical, horizontal, flow pack type, angular heat shrinking and heat sealing machines.
With regard to the vertical machines such as the form-fill seal, RGD has presented the VR-13 model which can be fitted with various types of dosers. Notwithstanding its smaller size this machine proves to be particularly robust and versatile.
The VR-1 Bis model on the other hand, is a horizontal packaging flow-pack type machine, which may be inserted in complete lines and equipped with complementary accessories.
Thanks to the experience it has accumulated RGD is able to study packaging solutions which are “tailor-made” for customers, with lines that include accessories such as weight control, weighing machines, labelling machines, automatic loaders.

748 Confezionatrici a controllo elettronico
Le confezionatrici TLM di Schubert rappresentano un potenziamento del sistema modulare SMB. Le nuove macchine, con caricamento dall'alto, sono compatte e semplici da usare, e tutte le loro funzioni sono ora più accessibili. Le confezionatrici TLM si distinguono per la loro flessibilità, l’universalità di impiego e il controllo elettronico.
Fra le innovazioni, ricordiamo il sistema di trasporto sottovuoto e il design particolare dell’unità di trasporto delle scatole oltre al dispositivo di formazione del cartone che può essere regolato per adattarsi alle diverse dimensioni e materiali delle scatole, senza bisogno di cambi-formato. Inoltre, grazie alla progressiva attribuzione delle funzioni meccaniche al software di controllo, la gestione della macchina si è ulteriormente semplificata.

Electronically controlled packaging machines
TLM top loading packaging machines by Schubert are an enhancement to the SMB modular system. The new machines are space-saving in design and user friendly as all functions are now more accessible. TLM packaging machines are distinguished for being flexible, universally deployable and electronically controlled machines. Among the innovations, we note the vacuum transport rake and the unique design of the box transporting unit, as well as the CNC-controlled carton erecting unit that can be adjusted to suit all standard carton sizes and material, without the need for a format change. The number of mechanical functions has been reduced by locating as many of them as possible in the control software.

749 Astucciatrice verticale
L'astucciatrice verticale FT300 di Senzani confeziona caramelle o chewing gum in astucci tipo "flip top" a velocità di circa 300 astucci/min. Dotata di contatore meccanico, può evitare l'estrazione dell'astuccio in caso di conteggio errato e recuperare il prodotto nel caso l'astuccio non sia presente sotto la zona di dosaggio. La FT 300, che completa una gamma di macchine dalle prestazioni fino a 600 astucci/min, può lavorare con diversi sistemi di dosaggio e montare, su richiesta, dispositivi di rapido cambio formato.
Tra le nuove proposte anche l'incartonatrice tipo S 2000-FA che, grazie al braccio robotizzato, colloca gli scatoloni vuoti nella zona di apertura/riempimento, dopo averli prelevati dal pallet e preleva quelli pieni in uscita dalla macchina palettizzandoli secondo lo schema prestabilito.

Vertical casing machine
The Senzani FT300 vertical casing machine packages sweets or chewing gum in “flip top” type cases at a speed of approximately 300 cases/minute. Equipped with a mechanical counter it can prevent the case being extracted if the count is mistaken and retrieve the product if the case is not in the filling zone.
The FT300, which completes a range of machines with a performance of up to 600 cases/minute, can work with various systems of dosing and be fitted, where required, with rapid format change devices.
Among the new proposals there is also the S2000-FA type wrapping machine which, thanks to its robotic arm, places the empty boxes in the opening/filling area after taking them off the pallet and picks up the full ones emerging from the machine palletising them according to a pre-established procedure.

750 Incappucciatrice automatica
I tre grandi obiettivi cui mira l’ultima generazione di incappucciatrici automatiche di Thimon sono la facilità d’uso e di manutenzione, la sicurezza e le alte prestazioni. Cover-Pal 2000 ha le guide al livello del pavimento o ad altezza operatore e un sistema leggero e modulare, per rendere più agevole la gestione dell'impianto. Cover-Pal 2000 consente di trattare carichi di diverse dimensioni e i mezzi pallet, nonché di fasciare i pallet che circolano in senso trasversale senza doverli girare. La semplicità del circuito del film riduce i tempi di sostituzione delle bobine a qualche minuto e consente di ridurre notevolmente il consumo di film. Cover-Pal 2000 fascia più di 150 pallet/ora, lavorando con bobine di diametro sino a 1000 mm e di spessore fino a 180 micron.

Automatic shrink hooding
The three main design objectives of the new generation of automatic shrink hooding by Thimon are: ergonomics of use and maintenance, working safety, high performance. Cover-Pal 2000 has the drive at floor level or at eye level and the light, modular system, in order to make running and maintenance safe and comfortable for personnel. It also offers flexibility with its multiplicity of load sizes and allows half pallets or pallets travelling with their long side leading to be wrapped without having to turn them. The film circuit is very simple and reduces reel changing time to a few minutes. It considerably saves on film. Cover-Pal 2000 wraps more than 50 pallets/hour (maximum diameter of the reels 1000 mm, film thickness up to 180 micron.

Robag 2Ci di TNA è una macchina verticale (impiegata a livello mondiale nelle industrie di confezionamento di snack, biscotti, dolciumi e alimenti) che processa una gamma molto ampia di buste di qualunque lunghezza, con spessori variabili da 55 a 320 mm.
Il sistema integrato a doppie ganasce rotanti della Robag 2Ci può imballare sino a 160 buste/min, con uno scarto di materiale inferiore all’1%. Grazie a TNA Intelly-sys, che utilizza un software proprietario, compatibile con Windows NT, è possibile cambiare tutte le componenti del sistema direttamente da touch screen. In questo modo l'utente è in grado di gestire efficacemente le informazioni ricevute e può disporre di tutti i controlli tramite un’unica interfaccia potente, ma semplice da usare.

Integrated vertical form-fill-seal system
TNA Robag 2Ci is a versatile performer that handles the widest range of bags widths (from 55 mm to 320 mm) and any length, throughout the world-wide snack, biscuit, confectionery and general food packaging industries.
The Robag 2Ci Rotary Double Jaw Integrated System can pack up to 160 bags/min with a waste rate below 1%. The TNA Intelly-sys changes all system components to Robag touch screen using proprietary software compatible with Windows NT.
This allows for the efficient use of system information to maximise performance. Using the TNA Intelly-sys all operational controls are combined in one powerful yet simple to use operator interface.
