Interpretation
We would like to remind readers that interpretations which are circulars have no force in law. However, being documents emanating from central organs of Public Administration (eg Ministries) and having the function of issuing directives to dependent and peripheral offices, these circulars are a useful tool for interpreting laws and documents having the force of law.
Ethyl alcohol
Ministry Circular governing production activities 12 October 2001, n.168
The use of ethyl alcohol in products for the home. Given the proliferation of the detergent products for use in the home presented, in the pack and in the labeling, as if they were denaturated ethyl alcohol with a general denaturater (but that actually are not), the circular asks the supervising bodies to intervene to ensure a fair trade and guarantee the protection of the interests of the consumer.

Beef
Circular of the Ministry for agricultural and forestry policies 15 October 2001, n.5
Ruling (EC) 1760/2000, Title II Labeling of beef and beef based products - Clarification as to the disciplinary rulings laid down in decree 30 August 2000.
Clarification concerning the voluntary labeling (optional information) on beef. In particular the emphasis is placed on:
1) Indications for the disciplinary rulings of labels
2) Information on the label
3) Feeding of animals
4) No GMO vegetable feed
5) Way of drawing up information on the label, etc.

This section provides details of the progress of parliamentary bills (acts) currently being discussed by the various institutional bodies, Chamber of Deputies (C) and Senate (S). It should be remembered that, until finally approved, bills can be to totally rewritten and have no legal value whatsoever.

Interpretazione
Ricordiamo ai lettori che le interpretazioni quali sono le circolari, non costituiscono fonte di diritto. Tuttavia trattandosi di atti emanati da organi centrali della Pubblica Amministrazione (ad esempio Ministeri) ed aventi una funzione direttiva nei confronti di uffici ad essi dipendenti e periferici, le circolari sono un utile strumento interpretativo di leggi e di atti aventi forza di legge che ne costituiscono l'oggetto.
Alcool etilico
Circolare Ministero delle attività produttive 12 ottobre 2001, n.168
Uso di alcool etilico nei prodotti per la casa. Dato il proliferare di prodotti detergenti a uso domestico presentati, nella confezione e nell'etichettatura, come se fossero alcole etilico denaturato con denaturante generale (ma che in realtà non lo sono), la circolare chiede agli organi di vigilanza di intervenire perché venga assicurata la lealtà commerciale e garantita la tutela degli interessi dei consumatori.
Carni bovine

Regolamento (CE) 1760/2000, Titolo II Etichettatura delle carni bovine e dei prodotti a base di carni bovine - Chiarimenti sulla predisposizione dei disciplinari previsti dal decreto 30 agosto 2000.
Delucidazioni relative all’etichettatura volontaria (informazioni facoltative) sulle carni bovine. In particolare viene posto l’accento su:
1) Indicazioni per la predisposizione dei disciplinari di etichettatura
2) L’informazione in etichetta
3) L’alimentazione degli animali
4) L’alimentazione vegetale non OGM
5) Modalità di redazione delle informazioni in etichetta, ecc

In questa sede viene descritto lo stato dell'iter dei disegni e proposte di legge (atti) in discussione nelle diverse sedi istituzionali, Camera (C) e Senato (S), preposte. È utile ricordare che, fino a loro definitiva approvazione, i disegni e progetti di legge possono essere totalmente stravolti e non hanno alcun valore giuridico.
