947 Termosaldatrici modulari
Le confezionatrici modello Taurus della Ulma appartengono alla famiglia delle termosaldatrici per vassoi e vaschette preformate, sigillati con un film compatibile con il materiale del vassoio per agevolare lo smaltimento della confezione a fine vita.
Queste macchine possono essere alimentate con vassoi già riempiti di prodotto, come di solito avviene nel confezionamento di uva, nettarine o fragole, oppure con vassoi vuoti, caricati automaticamente, di norma tramite un apposito disimpilatore a inizio macchina. In questo secondo caso, circa a metà macchina avviene il carico del prodotto, dosato tramite sistemi di pesatura automatici e inserito nel vassoio in transito; usualmente questo sistema si utilizza per insalate di quarta gamma, macedonie pronte o piatti preparati in genere.
Le Taurus possono effettuare la sola sigillatura del vassoio oppure, a richiesta, completano la confezione con l’immisione di miscele di gas ATP, con sistema vuoto/gas e successiva sigillatura del vassoio. Inoltre, permettono di realizzare una gran varietà di confezioni, differenziate per dimensioni e forma delle vaschette e dei vassoi, conferendo al pack valore aggiunto anche sul piano comunicazionale. Come tutte le confezionatrici della Ulma, anche questa serie di macchine è costruita a norma CE, garantendo in più la solidità e la sanificabilità richieste dall’industria alimentare.

Modular heatsealing machine
The Taurus range of heatsealers by Ulma belong to the family of heatsealing machines for preformed trays and tubs, sealed with a film compatible to that of the tray to facilitate disposal of the pack at the end of its lifecycle.
This machine can be fed with trays already filled with produce, as is usually the case with grapes, plums or strawberries, or with empty trays loaded automatically, this by way of a special destackers at the beginning of the machine. In the latter case the product is loaded about halfway inside the machine, dosed by automatic weighing systems and inserted in a the transiting tray; this system is usually used for washed and cut salads, fruit salads or other types of ready meals.
The Taurus range can be seal only or on demand can carry out the full operation inserting ATP mix gases with a vacuum/gas system and successive tray sealing.
As well as that, the range enables the creation of a broad range of packs that differ in terms of shape and size of tray and tub, also giving the pack added value on the communicational front. Like all Ulma packaging machines this series has been built conforming to EC standards, also guaranteeing the solidity and the sanification demanded by the food industry.

948 Formatrice di plateaux
Inpak Imola ha presentato a Macfrut la nuova formatrice di plateaux con impilatore integrato, modello TF12 Combi. Proposta in versione monoblocco con l’impilatore meccanico, la macchina occupa uno spazio molto ridotto, pur conservando le caratteristiche innovative e di flessibilità tipiche del modello base TF12 Evoluzione: cambio formato rapidissimo; formatura di plateaux con e senza angoli; distribuzione colla trasversale e longitudinale. La macchina, che effettua il cambio formato con volantini, raggiunge velocità di 40 vassoi al minuto e tratta formati fra un minimo di 300x200x60h e un massimo di 600x600x250h mm. TF12 Combi realizza vassoi semplici, standard con tettuccio, con tettuccio a triangolo ed eventuali raddoppi di fiancate e testate, del tipo citrus tray, del tipo “flapless” (anche rinforzato) e, infine, vassoi con angolo, tettuccio a triangolo ed eventuali raddoppi.

Crate forming machines
Inpak Imola presented it new model TF12 Combi crate forming machine with integrated stacker at Macfrut. Offered in monobloc version with mechanical stacker, the machine takes up limited space, while all the same preserving the innovatory and flexible features typical to the TF12 Evolution base model: rapid format change; crate forming with or without corners: longitudinal and crossways distribution of glue. The machine, that carries out format change with flywheel, reaches speeds of 40 trays a minute and processes formats between a minimum of 300x200x60h and a max of 600x600x250h mm. TF12 Combi creates simple trays, standard ones with roofs, with triangular roofsand if needed double side and head, citrus tray type, “flapless” type (even reinforced) and finally with corner, triangular roof and if required double sides.

949 Plateaux
Ciesse Paper presenta Marty: il nuovo plateaux di cartone “mcrotriplo”, proposto sia come imballo robusto, ad alta protezione, sia come versatile strumento di comunicazione. Marty, infatti, è stato strutturato con delle grandi aperture su tutti e quattro i lati, che lasciano passare più aria favorendo così la conservazione dei prodotti contenuti. Inoltre, può essere stampato a più colori, ad alta risoluzione, oltre che patinato e verniciato. Grazie agli angoli rinforzati e alle ribattiture sulle testate e sulle fiancate, una volta impilato può reggere fino a 170 kg.

Crates
Ciesse Paper presents Marty: the new cardboard microwave crate, providing sturdy high protection as well as being a versatile communication tool. Marty in fact has been structured with huge openings on all four sides that allow the air pass thus favouring the preservation of the product contained. As well as that, it can be printed in numerous colors in high resolution, as well as coated and lacquered. Thanks to its reinforced corners and to the ribbing on the head and sides, once stacked it can take up to 170 kg.

Impatec (Vicenza, 6-8/5/2004)
210 tra aziende e ditte rappresentate da tutta Italia, oltre 6.000 visitatori professionali registrati alla fine della manifestazione: questi, in estrema sintesi, i punti salienti del bilancio conclusivo di Impatec 2004, il salone vicentino del packaging che si è svolto dal 6 all’8 maggio scorsi. E in attesa dell’edizione 2006, Fiera di Vicenza e Padovafiere stanno lavorando congiuntamente per portare all’estero, nel 2005, alcune delle aziende espositrici di Impatec, Microelettronica e SIAS: gli appuntamenti previsti sono Industria di Budapest (maggio) e International Autumn Fair di Zagabria (settembre).

Impatec (Vicenza, 6-8/5/2004)
210 companies and firms represented from all of Italy, over 6,000 professional visitors registered at the end of the show: these summing things up are the salient points of the final balance of Impatec 2004, the Vicenza based packaging show held 6-8 May last.
And awaiting the 2006 edition, Fiera di Vicenza and PadovaFiere are working jointly to bring some of the companies that exhibited at Impatec, Microelettronica and SIAS abroad in 2005.
The scheduled dates are Budapest (May) and the International Autumn Fair of Zagreb (September).

950 Taglio e confezionamento
Sotto i riflettori la linea automatica per il confezionamento degli alimenti in sicurezza e igiene, la A400-VP6 di Bizerba. Questa nuova soluzione consente di ottenere buste a quattro saldature di salumi e formaggi, partendo direttamente dal prodotto intero. Gli alimenti vengono infatti confezionati sottovuoto o in atmosfera protettiva, oppure semplicemente sigillate. La A400-VP6 permette di risparmiare tempo e manodopera, oltre ad aumentare il livello di igiene evitando il contatto diretto del prodotto da parte dell’operatore, che si limiterà a caricarlo sul carrello.
L’affettatrice automatica A400 FB, posta ad inizio linea, si caratterizza per i 99 programmi di memoria disponibili per personalizzare la disposizione, la quantità delle fette e la dimensione delle porzioni; una volta impostati, i programmi possono essere facilmente richiamati all’inizio di ogni lavorazione. All’affettatrice seguono due nastri trasportatori di silicone per la composizione e la movimentazione di ogni singola porzione. Una volta create, le porzioni vengono trasportate all’interno della confezionatrice (che produce le buste in automatico) grazie alle due bobine di film poste a lato. La linea termina con un tunnel di fuoriuscita. Prerogativa della A400-VP6 è la possibilità di utilizzare bobine di diversi film per evidenziare le caratteristiche dei vari prodotti. Da notare, infine, che l’affettatrice automatica e la confezionatrice possono essere usate separatamente.

Cutting and packing
Highlight on the A400-VP6 automatic line for safely and hygienically packaging foodstuffs by Bizerba. This new solution enables the production of four seal bags for cold cut meats and cheese starting from the whole food product. The foodstuff is in fact vacuum packed in protective atmosphere or simply sealed. The A400-VP6 enables saving of time and manpower as well as an increase in hygiene levels, direct contact between the product and the operator being avoided, the operator only having to load the product onto the trolley. The A400 FB automatic slicing machine placed at the beginning of the line features 99 available programs for customising instructions, the amount of slices and the size of the portions; once set the programs can be easily called up at the beginning of each session. The slicer is followed by two conveyor belts in silicon for composing and shifting each single portion. Once created, the portions are transported inside the packaging machine (that automatically produces the packs) where two rolls of film are positioned on the side. The line ends with an outfeed tunnel. The A400-VP6 can use different film rolls to highlight the characteristics of the various products. Lastly, we note that the automatic slicing and packing machine can be used separately.

951 Pulizia e riempimento
M.G. Zeta ha presentato Tornado, una macchina in grado di pulire i flaconi tramite il soffiaggio di aria filtrata al loro interno e l’aspirazione di eventuali pulviscoli o impurità. Di dimensioni compatte (1000 x 1000 mm), questa macchina si presenta anche nella versione “Sciacquatore”, per il lavaggio dei contenitori tramite acqua. Tornado è inoltre predisposto al flusso laminare, capace di fare fronte (su richiesta) alle esigenze di un mercato molto diversificato.
Altra novità presentata da M.G. Zeta è la testa di riempimento 981, ideale per dosare con precisione alimenti sfusi, in particolar modo i cibi con consistenza non omogenea oppure con ingredienti granulosi. La sua velocità è di circa 50 porzioni/min.
La 981 può essere fornita con diversi diametri di outlet (30, 40, 50 o 60 mm).

Cleaning and filling
M.G. Zeta has presented Tornado, a machine capable of cleaning flacons through filtered air blown inside the same with suction of any dust or impurities. Compact in size (1000 x 1000 mm), this machine also comes in the “Rinser” version for washing containers using water. Tornado is also set for laminar flow, capable of tackling (on demand) all the needs of a highly diversified market. Another M.G. Zeta new feature is the 981 filling head, ideal for precision dosing loose foodstuffs, in particular foodstuffs with a non homogeneous consistency or granular ingredients. Its speed is around 50 portions/min. The 981 can be supplied with different outlet diameters (30, 40, 50 and 60 mm).
