925 Sistema integrato per MAP
Gruppo Fabbri lancia Atmopack®, una soluzione innovativa per il confezionamento in atmosfera modificata (MAP) di carni e alimenti freschi. Il sistema, in particolare, è composto da una macchina avvolgitrice (la Atmopack®) e da un film estensibile ad alta barriera (chiamato PE-BAR®).
Grazie alla flessibilità del film barriera e al particolare design della macchina avvolgitrice, il sistema Atmopack® consente di ottenere economie sostanziali sia per quanto riguarda l’impianto, sia il film: in condizioni operative standard, l’ammortamento dell’investimento può essere ridotto a meno di un anno.
Il vantaggio per l’utilizzatore è accresciuto dalla superiore lucentezza e trasparenza proprie del film PE-BAR®, e dalle eccellenti caratteristiche di barriera, che garantiscono una conservazione ottimale delle proprietà organolettiche dell’alimento. Il sistema Atmopack®, dopo aver superato brillantemente molti test presso utilizzatori selezionati, è già attualmente disponibile sul mercato italiano, e sarà quindi introdotto nei Paesi dell’Unione Europea fra la fine del 2004 e l’inizio del 2005.

Integrated MAP system
Gruppo Fabbri launches Atmopack®, a innovatory MAP (modified atmosphere packaging) solution for meats and fresh foods. The system in particular comprises a wrapping machine (Atmopack®) and high barrier stretchfilm (called PE-BAR®). Thanks to the flexibility of the barrier film and the special design of the wrapping machine, the Atmopack® enables considerable savings on both the system and film: in standard operating conditions the payback period of the investment can be reduced to less than a year.
Advantages also include the greater shininess and transparency of the PE-BAR® film, and the excellent barrier features that guarantee an optimum preservation of the foodstuff’s organoleptic properties.
The Atmopack® system, after having brilliantly passed many tests at selected users, is already now available on the Italian market and will hence be introduced into the countries of the European Union between the end of 2004 and the beginning of 2005.

926 Offerta integrata
Marchesini Group (Pianoro, BO) ha puntato l’attenzione su una linea completa di confezionamento siringhe. La linea è costituita da un’astinatrice-etichettatrice Corima AEC 218, da una termoformatrice Farcon FB 220 e da un’astucciatrice Marchesini MA 100 completamente integrate tra loro. Farcon e Corima, tra l’altro, sono le ultime due aziende entrate a far parte del gruppo Marchesini.
Il processo parte con la AEC 218 che, dopo il carico automatico delle siringhe monouso, controlla la presenza della protezione ago, inserisce l’astina sulla siringa, e dopo aver stampato i dati variabili sull’etichetta, la applica sulla siringa. Le siringhe assemblate ed etichettate vengono poi confezionate in cassonetti di PVC insieme a due fiale dalla termoformatrice Farcon, per passare poi all’astucciatrice MA 100, che inserisce i cassonetti negli astucci, impilandoli.

An integrated line
Marchesini Group of Pianoro (BO) focuses attention on a complete line for the packaging of syringes. The line consists of a Corima AEC 218 assembly/labeling machine, a Farcon FB 220 heat moulding machine and a Marchesini MA 100 cartoning machine, all completely integrated with each other. Farcon and Corima, among other things, are the latest two companies to become part of the Marchesini group. The process begins with the AEC 218 which, after automatically loading the single-dose syringes, checks that the needle protection is present, assembles the parts of the syringe and, after printing the variable data onto the label, applies it to the syringe.
The assembled and labelled syringes are then placed in PVC packs together with two vials from the Farcon heat moulding machine, and then pass to the MA 100 cartoning machine, which places the packs into cardboard packets and stacks them.

927 Rilevatore di perdite
Dansensor Italia (Segrate, MI), leader nella strumentazione di analisi per il controllo dell’atmosfera protettiva, presenta sul mercato italiano il rilevatore di perdite per confezioni di alimenti “Leak Pointer”, in grado di effettuare, in modo non distruttivo, rapidi controlli a campione.
Leak Pointer, utile per conoscere l’effettiva tenuta delle saldature e l’ermeticità delle confezioni in atmosfera protettiva, si basa su un innovativo sensore ceramico per CO2 in grado di offrire un’analisi estremamente precisa. La confezione da analizzare viene inserita nella camera a tenuta stagna, dove si crea una depressione che, in caso di perdite, causa una fuoriuscita di gas dall’involucro della confezione.
Grazie a un apposito sistema, una parte di questo gas attraversa il sensore, che analizza l’eventuale quantità di CO2 fuoriuscita dalla perdita. Il risultato viene indicato sul display di tipo touch screen. Oltre ad essere semplice da utilizzare, preciso nelle sue analisi e di costruzione interamente in acciaio inox, il sistema non richiede nessun tipo di calibrazione programmata. Inoltre, la memorizzazione dei dati di analisi e dei parametri di prova, l’uscita RS232 per il collegamento a stampante/PC e la compattezza delle dimensioni fanno del Leak Pointer uno strumento estremamente versatile.

Leak detector
Dansensor Italia (Segrate, Milan), leader in analysis instruments for protective atmosphere controls, presents the Italian market with its leak detector for food packs - the “Leak Pointer” - capable of carrying out fast non destructive sample tests. The Leak Pointer, ideal for finding out the effective tightness of seals and the hermetic nature of protective atmosphere packs, is based on an innovative ceramic CO2 sensor that’s capable of offering extremely precise analysis.
The pack to be analysed is inserted in the airtight chamber and then a depression is created that causes the gas to escape from the pack’s wrapping if there is a leak.
Thanks to a special system, part of this gas passes the sensor, which then analyses the amount of CO2 that escapes through the leak.
The result is shown on the touch screen display. As well as being easy to use and 100% stainless steel, the system offers precise analysis and has no need for programmed calibration. What’s more, the analysis data and test parameters stored in the memory, the RS232 output for connection to printer/PC and the compact size of the Leak Pointer make it an extremely versatile instrument.
