Imaje Italia si prepara al 2004 con una serie di novità in grado di soddisfare ogni necessità di codifica.
Marcatura su singolo prodotto
Può essere eseguita grazie al getto d’inchiostro a piccolo carattere (linee S7 e S8), ai sistemi laser e ai nuovissimi sistemi TTOL serie 5000.
• La linea S7 comprende macchine caratterizzate da basso ingombro (15 dm3) e leggerezza (8 kg). Facili e veloci da installare, possono essere spostate con agio da una linea di produzione all'altra. Facilissime da utilizzare, sono dotate di un’elettronica avanzata.
• Numerosi i punti di forza dei marcatori S8 Imaje. Tutti i modelli sono estremamente robusti, grazie alla struttura in acciaio inox; il circuito idraulico e i componenti elettronici sono separati mentre la presenza del condensatore Peltier consente il recupero dei vapori del solvente. Funzionano con svariati tipi di inchiostro pigmentato e non, e consentono diverse possibilità di configurazione della testa.
• Per una marcatura indelebile, Imaje si affida alla tecnologia laser, declinata in due modelli:
- il Lightjet matriciale è un laser ad alte prestazioni, che "scolpisce" i caratteri, raggiungendo livelli di precisione eccezionali. Marca fino a 5 linee di caratteri con altezza variabile da 2 a 15 mm, riproducendo molteplici alfabeti, loghi, date e ora, grazie ai contatori automatici;
- il Lightjet vettoriale, una macchina efficiente (assicura una marcatura ad alta velocità, indelebile e di ottima qualità), versatile (è facile da installare e semplice da utilizzare), sicura (garantisce una marcatura pulita e una manutenzione ridotta al minimo), eclettica (offre la massima libertà nella creazione dei messaggi).
• Per la marcatura su film flessibili Imaje ha realizzato un marcatore TTOL (serie 5000) in grado di adattarsi facilmente alle diverse linee di confezionamento; con due diverse tecnologie di stampa, intermittente e continua, offre prestazioni di tutto rilievo: velocità massima di 500 mm/s in continuo e 150 pezzi/min con l’intermittente (altezza messaggio 1 cm), risoluzione a 300 dpi (alta definizione), rotazione messaggi di 90°, 180° e 270°.
Le finestre di stampa possono essere di 53x133 mm o 107x133 mm (modello continuo) e 53x110mm o 107x 110 mm (modello intermittente).
La macchina dispone di una pratica tastiera interfaccia touch screen, in numerose lingue con l’allarme per il ribbon che rileva quanto ne è stato utilizzato e quanto tempo rimane prima del cambio.
Marcatura dell'imballo secondario
La codifica del packaging secondario può essere effettuata sia dai marcatori a getto d’inchiostro grande carattere (linee Crayon e MCP) sia con i sistemi print & apply.
Tra gli inkjet a grande carattere spicca il nuovo Crayon Plus: predisposto per essere adattato alle varie linee di produzione, assicura eccellenti risultati, facilità d’uso e prestazioni con un investimento veramente contenuto.
Adatto a personalizzare gli imballi porosi, può montare due tipi di teste: una da 7 ugelli per 1 linea di marcatura (stampa 12 mm h, velocità fino a 45 m/mm) e una da 16 ugelli, una assoluta novità per una macchina così piccola (1 o 2 righe stampa da 20 mm h o 1 riga da 44 mm, velocità di stampa fino a 60 m/mm).
Il Crayon X-tra è in grado di marcare a bassa definizione svariati messaggi su superfici porose (cartoni), semi-porose (cartoni verniciati) o non porose (tutte le superfici plastiche, per esempio bidoni e taniche). MCP e MCP Barcode assicurano al contempo risultati eccellenti per le marcature ad alta risoluzione. Forniti di teste di stampa progettate per superfici porose, possono scrivere fino a 5 righe di testo, riproducendo ad alta risoluzione loghi e codici a barre. In aggiunta ai marcatori a grande carattere, Imaje offre i sistemi print & apply, che utilizzano due diverse tecnologie di stampa: a trasferimento diretto e a trasferimento termico, combinando la stampa dell’etichetta con un'applicazione automatica sull'imballaggio, tramite appositi bracci meccanici collegati con le macchine da stampa. Vengono prodotte e commercializzate diverse tipologie di macchine, adatte a tutte le linee di imballaggio, in modo da rispondere in modo sempre più efficace alle esigenze della clientela.
Etichettare i pallet
Stampa e applicazione di etichette su pallet sono affidate a due modelli:
• MP1000 che, con un sistema a tampone, può applicare un’etichetta sia su un imballo secondario sia sul pallet.
• MP6000, la macchina più grande di tutto il range, stampa etichette di grande formato (A5) che, tramite un braccio articolato, vengono applicate su due lati del pallet.

Marking on the single product
This can be carried out thanks to small character inkjets (series S7 and S8) or by laser systems and by the new TTOL systems 5000 series.
• The S7 line features light (8 kg), low bulk (15 dm3) machines. Easy and speedy to install, they are simple to shift from one production line to another. Extremely user-friendly, they come equipped with advanced electronics.
• Numerous the strongpoints of the Imaje S8 markers. All the models are extremely sturdy, thanks to the stainless steel structure; the hydraulic circuit and the electronic components are separated while the presence of a Peltier condenser enables the recovery of solvent vapor. They work with various types of pigmented and other types of ink, and enable various possibilities of head configuration.
• For indelible marking, Imaje entrusts itself to laser technology, declined in two models:
- the matrix Lightjet is a high performance laser that “sculpts” the characters, achieving exceptional levels of precision. It marks up to five lines of characters with a variable height from 2 to 15 mm, reproducing multiple alphabets, logos, date and time, thanks to the automatic counters;
- the vectoral Lightjet, an efficient machine (it ensures a high speed indelible top quality marking), it is versatile (easy to install and simple to use), safe (it guarantees clean marking and maintenance reduced down to a minimum) and is eclectic (it offers max. freedom in creation of messages).
• For marking on flexible film Imaje has created a TTOL (series 5000) marker capable of easily adapting to the different packaging lines; with two different print technologies, intermittent and continuous, it offers top form performance: max speed of 500 mm/s in continuous and 150 pieces/min intermittently (message 1 cm high), resolution 300 dpi (high definition), rotation of message of 90°, 180° e 270°.
The print windows can be 53x133 mm or 107x133 mm continuous model and 53x110mm or 107x 110 mm on the intermittent model.
The machine has a practical touchscreen interface, in numerous languages with a ribbon alarm that shows how much has been used and how much time is left before the change.
Marking secondary packaging
The coding of this secondary packaging can be carried out both by large character inkjet markers (MCP and Crayon lines) and with print & apply systems.
Among the large character inkjets the new Crayon Plus stands out: set for being customized to the various production lines, it ensures excellent results, good performance, it is easy to use with a very limited investment. Suited for personalizing porous packaging, it can hold two types of head: one with 7 nozzles for 1 marking line (print h. 12 mm speed up to 45 m/mm) and one up to 16 nozzles, an absolute new feature for such a small machine (1 or 2 20mm print lines h. 20 mm or 1 line h. 44 mm, print speed up to 60 m/mm).
Crayon X-tra is capable of low definition marking of various messages on porous- (cardboards), semi porous- (lacquered cardboards) and non porous (all plastic surfaces, for example drums and tanks) surfaces. MCP and MCP Barcode also ensure excellent results for high resolution marking. Supplied with print heads designed for porous surfaces, they can write up to 5 lines of wording, reproducing logos and barcodes at high resolution. In addition to the large character markers, Imaje offers print & apply systems, that use two different print systems: direct transfer and thermal transfer, combining the printing of the label with the automatic application on the packaging, this by way of a special mechanical arm connected with a print machine.
The company produces and trades various types of machines, suited to all the packaging lines, this so as to respond in evermore effective way to customer needs.
Labeling pallets
Print and application of labels on pallets are entrusted to two models:
• MP1000, that works with tampon system and can apply labels both on secondary packaging as well as pallets.
• MP6000, the largest machine in the entire range, prints largescale labels (A5) that, by way of an articulated arm, are applied to two sides of the pallet.
