Caratterizzati da design elegante e da tecnologie allo stato dell'arte, i terminali integrano la potenza e la flessibilità di Windows CE.NET e del processore Intel XScale PXA255 funzionante a 400 MHz con la trasmissione dati in radio frequenza e la lettura tramite scanner laser. Consentono quindi di massimizzare velocità ed efficienza della gestione dei dati, nonché il controllo dell’inventario nel retail e lungo tutta la supply chain.

Portable wireless terminals
Tradex distributes the Falcon 4410 and 4420 portable terminals for the collection of data in batch and wireless mode with Windows CE.NET operating system, produced by PSC, specialists in automatic data collection technology. Featuring a stylish design and state-of the art technology, the terminals combine the power and flexibility of CE.NET and the Intel XScale PXA255 processor which operates at 400 MHz with data transmission at radio frequencies and reading by laser scanner.
They thus allow maximisation of speed and efficiency in managing data, as well as inventory control at the retail end and along the whole of the supply chain.
Model 4410 is very manageable and therefore ideal for prolonged data collection operations; the 4420, equipped with an ergonomic handle and long range laser reader, allows intense and fast use of the scanner as well as high scansion efficiency, and is thus especially useful for reading reference labels attached to the highest shelves.

Self-aligning supports
Marbett’s MB line consists of a wide range of self-aligning supports with shaft bearings having a diameter from 20 to 45 mm, which provide high mechanical performances and resistance to shocks, thanks to the use of premium glass reinforced thermoplastic resins for the housing and top quality bearings.
The waterproof protection system makes them particularly suitable for use in the most difficult conditions (damp, frequent washing and chemical attack).
A key component of the support is the protective cover which, as well as isolating the bearing from the external environment, guarantees efficient accident-proof protection, and ease of inspection.
The Correggio (RE) company has also launched new side flange supports (with three fastening holes for “cantilever” assemblies), along with the take-up version and the oval flange supports.
The latter, together with the similar supports with square flange, thanks to a stainless steel coating and the patented perfect integration of components, are particularly suited to use in the food sector.

The highspeed Allprint Smart S by Alltec (Busto Arsizio, VA) constitutes an effective and flexible answer to the needs of safety and quality expressed in the sector for marking alcoholic beverage bottles. Featuring a high speed beam deviation and rapid marking, the Smart S enables the flexible marking of wording with a number of lines in a few milliseconds, being used both for simple as well as for complex application. The Smart S range responds to the requisites of IP65 protection class and can be easily integrated in already existing bottling and labeling lines. Now Alltec is launching its new Smart SD series, that comes with a feed and two marking units. In the event of the change of the marking point, all one need do is to activate the second marking unit in a simple fashion using a key switch.

B&H’s Productivity Monitoring tracks labeler productivity and product scrap by container type, shift, day, week and month. In addition, the system identifies the sources of machine downtime and plots trends for specific variables over user-selected time-periods.
