30 anni di soluzioni di codifica e marcatura
Alla prossima edizione di Pharmintech, in calendario a Bologna dall’8 all’11 giugno 2004, MARKEM espone (Pad. 20, stand E61) diverse soluzioni tecnologiche, applicate ai propri sistemi di identificazione.
L’affidabilità degli strumenti di codifica ed etichettatura, le prestazioni in termini di alta qualità, durata, nitidezza e sicurezza della stampa, il supporto inteso come parte integrante della soluzione, sono elementi fondamentali dell’offerta MARKEM ai quali si aggiunge l’esperienza maturata in trent’anni di attività, caratterizzati da progressione continua, sia in termini di volumi di vendita, sia di evoluzione tecnologica.
SISTEMI DI IDENTIFICAZIONE
Le soluzioni tecnologiche esposte da MARKEM in fiera sono tutte in linea con i requisiti richiesti dalla FDA americana nell’ambito delle produzioni farmaceutiche.
SmartDate®
Codificatori a trasferimento termico ideali per stampare codici bidimensionali, codici a barre, codici lotto e altre informazioni variabili su etichette. Con una base installata mondiale che conta alcune decine di migliaia di unità, SmartDate ha dimostrato la propria flessibilità e la propria affidabilità nel tempo (foto 1).
SmartLase(tm)
Codificatori laser CO2 di bassa potenza che consentono di stampare in tempo reale codici permanenti di elevata qualità su astucci, blister, etichette, tubetti e flaconi di PET. Gli SmartLase, oltre ad avere un prezzo di ingresso interessante, non necessitano di materiali di consumo o di grande manutenzione. Facilmente integrabili in linea, offrono grande flessibilità e versatilità (foto 2).
Codificatori per cartoni serie 5000
Stampano in linea, direttamente sui cartoni, qualsiasi tipo di identificazione grafica con logo, date, numeri di lotto e qualsiasi tipo di codice a barre, compreso l'EAN 128, tutti leggibili al 100%. La risoluzione grafica e le prestazioni dei sistemi 5200 e 5400 soddisfano le necessità in tema di qualità di stampa e di rispetto dell’ambiente, grazie all’impiego della resina termoplastica MARKEM Touch Dry® (foto 3).
Cimjet®
Questi sistemi di stampa a trasferimento termico e applicazione etichette di disegno modulare, molto robusti e duraturi, consentono la stampa e l’applicazione in tempo reale di etichette autoadesive, con legende, logo e codici a barre, su uno o più lati dei cartoni.
Tutti i dispositivi MARKEM sono affidabili e durevoli, come è stato dimostrato dai risultati dei tipici test condotti in ambito industriale (foto 4).
Intelligent Coding
Centrale nell’attività MARKEM è la filosofia “Intelligent Coding”, grazie alla quale la società è in grado di proporre soluzioni diverse a seconda delle necessità e di provvedere alle operazioni di codifica lungo tutta la fase di produzione e distribuzione. I sistemi MARKEM possono garantire codifiche permanenti e in tempo reale di date di scadenza, codici lotto, codici a barre e codici bidimensionali, su una vasta gamma di substrati diversi, dal prodotto singolo sino al pallet.
Il sistema exchange (una delle soluzioni post vendita Uptime – Total Service Program) permette di aumentare l’efficienza produttiva riducendo i tempi di fermo, grazie alla sostituzione tempestiva della macchina con una semplice chiamata al servizio di help desk telefonico.

30 years of solutions for coding and marking
At the next edition of Pharmintech, scheduled for Bologna from 8 to 11 June 2004, MARKEM will be exhibiting (Pav. 20, stand E61) several technological solutions applied to its identification systems.
The reliability of equipment for coding and labeling, performance in terms of high quality, durability, print sharpness and safety, with support an integral part of the solution, are the basic elements of the MARKEM range, to which can be added experience gained over thirty years of activity, characterised by continual progress, both in terms of volume of sales and technological development.
Identification systems
The technological solutions exhibited by MARKEM at Pharmintech are absolutely in line with the demands of the American FDA in the field of pharmaceutical products.
SmartDate®
Heat transfer coding machines ideal for printing two-dimensional codes, barcodes, batch codes and other variable information onto labels.
With a worldwide base in place, consisting of tens of thousands of units, SmartDate has demonstrated its flexibility and reliability over time (photo 1).
SmartLase(tm)
A low power CO2 laser coding machine which allows the printing of high quality permanent codes in real time onto packets, blisters, labels, tubes and PET bottles.
The SmartLase, as well as having a competitive entry level price, does not require consumable materials or a high level of maintenance.
Easy to integrate into the line, it provides great flexibility and versatility (photo 2).
5000 series coding machines for cartons
In line, directly onto the cartons, they print all types of graphic identification with logo, date, batch number and any type of barcode, including EAN 128, and are 100% legible.
The graphic resolution and performance of the 5200 and 5400 systems satisfies all requirements in terms of print quality and respect for the environment, thanks to the use of MARKEM Touch Dry® thermoplastic resin (photo 3).
Cimjet®
These systems for heat transfer printing and the application of labels are of modular design, robust and with a long working life. They print and apply self-adhesive labels in real time, with legend, logo and barcode, onto one or more sides of the cartons. All MARKEM equipment is reliable and durable, as can be seen from the results of testing carried out in an industrial environment.
Intelligent Coding
Central to MARKEM’s activity is the philosophy of ‘Intelligent Coding’, thanks to which the company is able to offer several solutions depending on requirements and to provide for coding operations through all stages of production and distribution. MARKEM systems ensure permanent coding in real time of expiry dates, batch codes, barcodes and two-dimensional codes, on a vast range of different substrates, from individual products to pallets. The exchange system (one of the Uptime - Total Service Program after-sales solutions) permits increased production efficiency by reducing downtime, thanks to the prompt replacement of the machine by a simple call to the help service phone desk.
