Markem SmartLase: alternativa vincente
SmartLase è il codificatore laser CO2 a bassa potenza che Markem ha lanciato di recente sul mercato. Una soluzione ideale per affrontare le problematiche generali e di carattere economico legate all'uso dei codificatori ink-jet, che comportano tradizionalmente operazioni di pulizia e di manutenzione, oltre a costi di gestione elevati, generati dall’impiego dei materiali di consumo.
SmartLase si distingue per affidabilità, flessibilità e, non ultimo, sicurezza, operando senza contatto su prodotti sia in movimento sia in fase statica. È disponibile in due versioni: il modello base, che consente di stampare su un'area di 38 x 38 mm con velocità fino a 60 m/min, e il modello SmartLase SL, che presenta una capacità di stampa su un'area più estesa (81 x 81 mm) con velocità fino a 90 m/min. In entrambi i modelli la marcatura può essere orientata di 360° in base alle necessità e si possono stampare fino a quattro linee di caratteri alfa numerici, simboli e logo.
Leggero (pesa complessivamente 10 kg), contenuto nelle dimensioni e caratterizzato da un montaggio estremamente semplice, SmartLase adotta la tecnologia più recente, che consente di coniugare economicità ed efficienza. Non dovendo ricorrere a materiali di consumo, la gestione complessiva del sistema risulta oltremodo interessante, anche grazie al costo d'acquisto iniziale della macchina, inferiore rispetto agli altri codificatori laser in commercio.
SmartLase è in grado di apporre codifiche e marcature su una vasta gamma di materiali di confezionamento. Il laser vaporizza infatti perfettamente la superficie da marcare, formando una scritta chiaramente leggibile e permanente, ad esempio, su astucci di cartoncino, etichette di carta, bottiglie e flaconi di PET, capsule per bottiglie e blister, ovvero quei materiali adottati per l’imballaggio dei surgelati, prodotti da forno, cereali, prodotti caseari, bevande, detergenti, farmaceutici e cosmetici.
Il nuovo sistema di codifica Markem SmartLase può essere completamente integrato in un processo produttivo con il SW standard di rete Markem CimControl, insieme agli altri dispositivi di codifica e etichettatura Markem.
Ricordiamo infine che anche SmartLase interpreta la filosofia Markem dell'Intelligent Coding, un concetto che coinvolge l’intera gamma delle soluzioni messe in campo da Markem: dai sistemi digitali a getto d'inchiostro, a quelli a trasferimento termico, dai prodotti per la stampa e applicazione di etichette, ai SW, fino ai materiali di consumo e ai servizi di assistenza tecnica e consulenza. Considerata come un unico sistema integrato, questo tipo di offerta consente ai produttori di automatizzare e gestire completamente le operazioni di marcatura, codifica ed etichettatura dall'inizio al fine-linea.

Markem SmartLase: a successful alternative
SmartLase is the low power CO2 laser coder that Markem recently launched on the market. An ideal solution to general as well as cost-related problems linked to the use of inkjet coders, that need traditional maintenance and cleaning operations, also having high running costs generated by their use of consumables.
SmartLase stands out for its reliability, flexibility and not least for its safety, operating contactless on both moving and stationary products. It is available in two versions: the basic model, that enables printing on an area 38x38 mm at a speed of up to 60 m/min, and the model SmartLase SL, that has a print capacity over a broader area (81x81 mm) with speeds up to 90 m/min. In both models the marking can be oriented 360° according to needs and up to four lines of alphanumerical characters, symbols and logos can be printed.
Light (overall weight of 10 kg), of limited size and simple to mount, SmartLase adopts the most recent technology, offering an all-round high cost effectiveness.
The overall running of the system is extremely advantageous, the savings in not having to purchase consumables combining with the cost of purchasing the machine, lower compared to other laser coders on the market.
SmartLase can apply codes and marking to a vast range of packaging materials.
In fact the laser successfully vaporises the surface to be marked, forming a clearly legible and permanent wording, for example, on cardboard cases, paper labels, PET bottles and flacons, bottle capsules and blisters, or that is those materials used for packaging frozen foods, oven-ready products, cereals, dairy products, beverages, detergents, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics.
The new Markem SmartLase coding system can be completely integrated within a production process with the Markem CimControl SW network standard, as well as with the other Markem coding and labeling machines.
We finally note that SmartLase follows on Markem’s Intelligent Coding philosophy, a concept that involves the entire range of solutions fielded by Markem: from inkjet digital systems, to heat transfer, from print and label apply products to SW, up to consumables and assistance & consultancy services.
Considered as a sole integrated system, this type of offer enables the producer to completely automate and run marking, coding and labeling operations from the beginning to end-of-line.
