Aspiratori certificati
“Sicurezza e igiene sul posto di lavoro”: non un semplice slogan, ma una filosofia di lavoro che uniforma tutte le attività della CFM (produttore di aspiratori industriali).
Dopo i riconoscimenti TÜV, GS, CESI, CFM ha ottenuto di recente la certificazione Atex, secondo la quale alcuni modelli di aspiratori possono operare in ambienti a rischio di esplosione (gas, nebbie e/o polveri combustibili). Tale direttiva, non solo certifica l'equipaggiamento elettrico ma il macchinario nel suo insieme, e ha fra l’altro permesso all’azienda di uniformarsi alle direttive europee (99/92 per le zone e 94/9 per il prodotto) ancor prima della loro entrata in vigore.
Serie Oil - Fra i modelli messi a punto di recente e certificati Atex, la Serie Oil è stata progettata per aspirare olio da taglio, emulsioni o trucioli provenienti da macchine utensili, e successivamente separare la parte liquida dai residui solidi tramite macrofiltrazione; un procedimento, questo, che consente di rimettere in circolo l’olio all’interno delle macchine.
La Serie Oil è inoltre particolarmente indicata per lo svuotamento delle vasche, assicurando notevoli risparmi in termini economici e di tempo: a titolo d’esempio ricordiamo che, se per svuotare una vasca da 1000 litri occorrono generalmente da 4 a 6 ore, con l’ausilio di un CFM Oil due addetti ne impiegano 1 sola, assicurando tra l’altro un grado di pulizia superiore.
I vantaggi offerti da questa serie, che risulta maneggevole e di facile utilizzo, non si esauriscono qui, dato che l’impiego di CFM Oil assicura:
- una durata prolungata degli utensili e, di conseguenza, una riduzione dei costi sostenuti per l’affilatura o per l’acquisto di nuove attrezzature;
- la possibilità di riutilizzare il liquido aspirato anche 2 o 3 volte, senza intaccare le proprietà degli oli, grazie all’impiego di sostanze chimiche in grado di neutralizzare muffe e/o batteri;
- la riduzione dei costi di smaltimento degli oli stessi, una maggiore igiene ambientale (in osservanza della legge 626).
I modelli (equipaggiati in genere con motori trifase, tranne l’Oil 220 disponibile anche in versione monofase), si differenziano in base alla potenza motrice (da 1,3 kW a 7,5 kW) e alla capacità dei contenitori di raccolta liquidi.

Certified vacuum cleaners
“Safety and hygiene in the workplace”: not just a slogan, but a true philosophy of work, a common theme in all CFM activities (producer of industrial vacuum cleaners).
To add to its TÜV, GS and CESI certification, CFM has recently received Atex certification, according to which certain vacuum cleaner models can work in explosive environments (flammable gas, mist and/or powders). This directive not only certifies the electrical equipment, but also the overall machine and has also meant that the company is now fully compliant with the relevant European standards (99/92 for the zones and 94/9 for the product) even before these have come into effect.
The Oil series - One of the various lines recently developed and Atex certified, the Oil series is designed to suck up cutting fluids, emulsions or swarf and chips coming from machine tools and then separate the liquid part from the solid residues by means of macro-filtering; a procedure that lets one return the oil to the machine for further use. The Oil series is also especially suited to emptying tanks, with great savings in money and time: for example, 4-6 hours are normally needed to empty a 1000-litre tank, but it takes just 1 hour when two workers use a CFM Oil model, and the tank is left far cleaner. The advantages of this easy to handle and use series don't stop here, given that the use of a CFM Oil model guarantees:
- longer tool life and, as a result, fewer costs for their sharpening or the purchase of new equipment;
- the chance to re-use the sucked liquid, even 2-3 times, without affecting the properties of the oils, thanks to the use of chemical substances capable of neutralising mould and/or bacteria;
- a cut in disposal costs for the oil and greater environmental hygiene (in line with Law 626).
The various models (all fitted with a three-phase motor, apart from the Oil 220, also available in a single-phase model) differ in terms of motor power (from 1.3 kW to 7.5 kW) and the capacity of the liquid collection bins.

Packaging della bellezza

È il caso dei flaconi per mascara, lip gloss ed eye liner che, grazie alle particolari tecnologie adottate, sono caratterizzati da pareti di spessore elevato che assicurano un effetto barriera altrimenti non ottenibile e da una precisione assoluta del collo del flacone e del filetto. Packaging beauty
Quality, creativity and innovation are the guidelines followed by P&C, a young and dynamic cosmetics packaging company, in the manufacture of products of original design, with attention to all aspects of aesthetics, technology and function.
This is the case with their small bottles for mascara, lip gloss and eyeliner, whose thick sidewalls (thanks to the particular adopted tecnologies) ensure a barrier effect otherwise unobtainable, and absolute precision in the neck of the bottle and its thread.
But P&C has come up with innovations, considering above all the hermetic seal, practicality, safety and use of the packaging itself. This is shown, among other things, by the ergonomic blending of bottle and cap, which is opened by rotating through a mere 3/4 turn, and the hydraulic sealing system (patent pending) which ensures a hermetic closure and, at the same time, a click-lock function, preventing accidental opening and communicating a feeling of a safe, quality closure.

Monoblocchi di riempimento/tappatura
A.M.S. Technic (Capalle, FI) ha sviluppato i monoblocchi rotativi Pegaso e Sirio per il riempimento e la tappatura di bottiglie e contenitori con capacità 200-5000 ml di diverse forme e materiali. Differenziati per dimensioni, capacità produttiva e numero delle stazioni di riempimento, i monoblocchi vengono forniti in tre versioni: standard (per prodotti chimici o neutri), alimentare (per prodotti farmaceutici o alimentari) e anticorrosiva (per prodotti chimici aggressivi). Possono effettuare due diversi tipi di riempimento (volumetrico a gravità per prodotti liquidi e acidi, e a pressione per prodotti viscosi) e montare da 12 a 40 stazioni. Dotati di valvole con dispositivo antigoccia e antischiuma, hanno un sistema di tappatura particolarmente versatile, che può utilizzare qualsiasi tipologia di tappo, a vite o a pressione. Personalizzabili su richiesta, Pegaso e Sirio si distinguono per affidabilità, manutenzione ridotta, estrema velocità e rapidità nei cambi formato. La capacità produttiva varia da 1000-6000 pz/h (con 12-24 stazioni di riempimento) a 1500-1200 pz/h (con 16-40 stazioni).
Fill&cap monoblocks
A.M.S. Technic (Capalle, Florence) has developed the Pegaso and Sirio rotating monoblocks for filling and capping bottles and containers holding 200-5000 ml in an assortment of shapes and materials. Differing in terms of size, output capacity and the number of filling stations, these monoblocks come in three versions: standard (for chemical and neutral products), food (for pharmaceutical or food products) and anticorrosive (for aggressive chemical products). They're capable of two different filling methods (gravity volumetric for liquids and acids and pressurised for viscose products) and can hold from 12 to 40 stations. Featuring valves with a non-drip no foam device, they have an especially versatile capping system that can use any cap type (screw top or snap top). Can be personalised on request. The Pegaso and Sirio are distinguished for their reliability, low maintenance, fast speeds and quick changeover. Output capacity ranges from 1000-6000 bottles/h (with 12-24 filling stations) to 1500-1200 bottles/h (with 16-40 stations).
Carrelli elevatori AC, anche a noleggio
Con l’intento di migliorare le caratteristiche di flessibilità, semplicità di guida e prestazioni dei carrelli, entro la fine del 2003 BTCesab (gruppo Toyota) estenderà la tecnologia AC (corrente alternata) anche alla gamma dei carrelli elettrici Blitz a tre e quattro ruote (di portata 1,2÷2 t). Già utilizzata sui modelli di portata superiore (2,5÷5 t), garantisce prestazioni elevate, nonché maneggevolezza ed economicità. I freni a bagno d’olio, di serie su tutte le macchine, oltre a consentire di ridurre i costi e le modalità di manutenzione, garantiscono una frenatura progressiva, controllabile ed efficiente.Ulteriore punto di forza dell’azienda di Bologna è il servizio di noleggio Rental, in grado di soddisfare le esigenze delle aziende che mirano a ottenere massima efficienza e affidabilità, coniugate con costi di gestione ridotti. AC forklift trucks, even for hire
Having set itself the goal to improve the flexibility, easy-driving and performance of its trucks, BTCesab (part of the Toyota Group) intends to extend its AC (alternate current) technology to its Blitz range of 3 or 4 wheeled forklift trucks (lifting capacity: 1.2-2 t) by the end of 2003. Already used on its more powerful models (2.5-5 t), this technology guarantees high performance, easy handling and low running costs. The oil bath brakes fitted as standard on all trucks not only cut costs and reduce maintenance, but also guarantee gradual, controllable and efficient braking. Another strength of this Bologna-based company is its Rental service, to satisfy the needs of companies looking for max efficiency and reliability plus low costs. The monthly “all-included” rental includes routine scheduled servicing of the trucks, extraordinary maintenance and spare-parts for all models in the Cesab range. Finally, during the contract period customers can vary the characteristics of the trucks being used or even change them for different equipment.

Obbedendo ai dettami della TPM, la metodologia giapponese che attraverso la manutenzione pianificata e il controllo degli impianti porta le macchine alla massima efficienza, TMG ha messo a punto l’incartonatrice rotativa Rotopaq 450. "Abbiamo realizzato la macchina - racconta il responsabile della progettazione - inseguendo tutti gli obiettivi di questa severa metodologia, che prevede in primo luogo di eliminare gli imprevisti; la manutenzione programmata deve infatti coincidere con quella strettamente necessaria. Abbiamo lavorato per rendere il cambio formato rapido e semplice e non abbiamo peraltro trascurato l'accessibilità alla componentistica, che risulta immediatamente visibile. Il design robusto assorbe inoltre le variazioni dimensionali del prodotto e il telaio simmetrico la rende facilmente inseribile in diversi lay-out". Rotopaq è stata presentata alla scorsa Ipack Ima come una macchina standard, capace di soddisfare esigenze diverse. "Abbiamo già messo a punto - prosegue Marco Otera, responsabile vendite Italia di TMG - un modello specifico per il settore farmaceutico, in cui tutti i componenti di acciaio inox sono a tenuta stagna e facilmente lavabili. Rotopaq è già disponibile in quattro modelli: 450, 650, 850 e 1.250, dove il numero indica la larghezza del cartone. Per quanto riguarda le velocità, dichiariamo senza dubbio 20 cicli/min".
Japanese rulings, Italian heart

Obeying the dictates of the TPM, the Japanese methodology that by way of planned maintenance and checking of systems brings the machines to max. efficiency, TMG has devised the Rotopaq 450 casepacking machine.
“We have created the machine - the machine project leader tells us - following all the objectives of this severe methodology, that first and foremost sees to the elimination of hitches: programmed maintenance in fact has to coincide with maintenance that is strictly necessary. We have worked to make format change rapid and simple and we have not among other things neglected the accessibility of componentry that is open to view. The sturdy design also absorbs the dimensional variations of the product and the symmetrical chassis means it can be easily incorporated in different layouts”. Rotopac was presented at Ipack-Ima as a standard machine, capable of satisfying different needs. Marco Otera, TMG Italy sales headdeclared - “we have devised a specific model for the pharmaceutical sector, in which the airtight stainless steel components are easy to wash. Rotopaq is already available in four models: 450, 650, 850 and 1,250. where the figure indicates the breadth of carton. As far as speed is concerned, we declare surely 20 cycles/min”.
Bilance ad alte prestazioni
Bilanciai Group ha presentato all’ultimo Macfrut di Cesena la nuova bilancia ad alte prestazioni Equa 3000 TOP. Un apposito display grafico rende piú facile la programmazione della macchina, permettendo di realizzare messaggi promozionali, augurali o di altro tipo, accompagnati da immagini in formato bitmap. Tutti i modelli, anche nella versione base, dispongono di porta Ethernet oltre alle linee seriali standard RS232 e RS485, e si distinguono per la facile integrabilità con i sistemi aziendali. Fra le funzioni standard: 2999 merceologici programmabili (PLU); 16 settori merceologici, eventualmente abbinabili ad aliquote IVA; tara pesata e manuale, tare in successione; stampa programmabile del codice a barre EAN13, su scontrino e su etichetta; tracciabilità delle carni e ittica, oltre a quelle che permettono di stampare loghi, immagini e messaggi di varia naura.

High performance scales
At the last Macfrut in Cesena, Bilanciai Group presented its new Equa 3000 TOP high performance scales. A graphic display makes programming the machine easier, allowing promotional, seasonal or other types of messages to be created, accompanied by images in bitmap format. All models, even the basic version, have an Ethernet port as well as standard RS232 and RS485 serial lines, and are characterised by being easily integrated into company systems. Among the standard functions are: 2999 types of goods programmable (PLU); 16 market sectors, which if necessary can be combined with the VAT rate; tare weighed and manual, progressive weights; programmable printing of EAN13 barcodes on receipts and labels; traceability of meats and fish, as well as printing of logos, images and various types of message. Bilanciai Group was set up from the Società Cooperativa Bilanciai in order to be able to operate in international markets in all fields of weighing. Forno IR ad aria fredda e secca
In merito al problema dell’essiccazione dell’inchiostro offset, EuroGraf Srl Tecnologia per la Stampa propone un prodotto tecnicamente nuovo, il Sistema Aradiant IR.
Consigliato per la stampa con inchiostri offset convenzionali e vernici a base acqua, il forno ad aria fredda e secca, brevettato e messo a punto da Aradiant è costituito da singoli Interdeck che vengono installati di preferenza dopo ogni gruppo stampa e dopo il verniciatore. Il sistema di comando opera tramite un PC in grado di sintonizzare in modo automatico l’emissione delle frequenze delle onde IR provenienti dagli Interdeck necessarie per essiccare ogni colore senza che il calore raggiunga il supporto stampato.
Grazie al forno Aradiant è possibile ottenere ottima qualità di stampa a registro, a fronte di minori fermi macchina per lavaggio dei caucciù o manutenzione. Fra gli altri vantaggi, ricordiamo il foglio fresco in pila in uscita, assenza di polvere antiscartino, passaggio rapido alle fasi successive di lavoro, possibilità di plastificare anche senza antiscartino, risparmio energetico (grazie all’uso di frequenze mirate) e, non ultimo, maggior tutela della salute degli stampatori.
IR dry/cold air oven
To meet the problem of drying offset print, EuroGraf Srl Printing Technology proposes a new-concept product: the Aradiant IR System.
Expressly advised for the printing of conventional offset inks and waterbased lacquers, the Aradiant IR oven consists of single Interdecks preferably installed after each print unit and after the lacquering unit. The PC control system can automatically time the emission of the frequency of the IR waves coming from the Interdecks needed to dry each color without letting the heat reach the printed medium.
It offers the following benefits: improvement of the print quality and the color register; reduction of machine stoppages, both for washing the blanket as well as for maintenance; positioning of the fresh sheet in pile at the outfeed; no anti set-off powder (economic saving and better cleanliness in the work environment); rapid changeover to subsequent work phases; possibility of plastification without anti set-off powder; energy saving, thanks to the use of targeted frequencies; improvement of protection of the printers’ health.
Linea automatica di alimentazione pallet
Cismac (Sassuolo, MO) ha progettato e sviluppato una linea automatica di alimentazione pallet, composta da disincastratore, alimentatore e da un sistema di trasporto a rulli.
Il disincastratore Lift 2 R.C.700/1200 (coperto da brevetto) preleva e divide i pallet accatastati, ruotandoli e posizionandoli a uno a uno sulle rulliere; grazie all’elevata flessibilità, può essere agevolmente inserito in diverse linee di confezionamento. Caratterizzato da un ingombro particolarmente ridotto (solo 1,50 m contro i 3/6 m generalmente occupati dagli impianti sul mercato) e da elevata velocità, opera su pallet con dimensioni variabili da 700x700 mm a 1200x100 mm. Lift 2 R.C.700/1200 può essere inoltre abbinato all’alimentatore modello Universal A.700/1200, preceduto, a sua volta, da un sistema di trasporto a rulli che permette di stoccare i pezzi in più file, rendendoli immediatamente disponibili per i diversi turni di lavoro.
Automatic pallet feeding line
Cismac (Sassuolo, Modena) has designed and developed an automatic pallet feeding line consisting of a separator, feeder and a roller transport system. The Lift 2 R.C.700/1200 separator (patented) picks up and divides stacked pallets, turning and placing them one by one on the rollers; thanks to their high flexibility, they can be easily added to different packing lines. Particularly compact (just 1.50 m compared to the 3-6 m generally needed for other systems on the market today) and ultra-fast, the machine can handle pallets of varying sizes, from 700x700 mm to 1200x100 mm. The Lift 2 R.C.700/1200 can also be used together with the Universal A.700/1200 feeder, with a roller system fitted up-line of this for stacking of the items in several rows, making them immediately available for the different work shifts.
Flow-pack per l’ortofrutta
All’ultimo Macfrut RGD Packaging ha presentato due flow-pack per il confezionamento di ortofrutta, in vassoio o vaschetta e in sacchetto.
30 anni di vita, di cui 15 in buona parte dedicati all’ortofrutta (l’altro tradizionale settore di sbocco è quello dell’"arte bianca"); 75% di export (ma quest’anno punta a crescere di più anche in Italia); 2 filiali produttive in Spagna, che servono le aree di cultura ispanico-portoghese e la Francia; una nuova sede, sempre nel veronese, ormai in dirittura d’arrivo. Con queste credenziali e una gamma di macchine sempre più ampia e completa, RGD Packaging si è presentata all’utimo Macfrut, dove ha messo in mostra due linee di flow-pack dedicate al settore ortofrutticolo. Inoltre, per ovviare ai limiti di spazio che caratterizzano la manifestazione cesenate, sono stati “esposti” sia i video di confezionatrici in funzione negli stabilimenti di clienti, sia alcuni cartelli luminosi con le immagini delle principali macchine orizzontali e verticali, che non hanno trovato posto in fiera.
"Al Macfrut di quest’anno - ha dichiarato la figlia del titolare, Martina Rigon - abbiamo puntato sulla VR-1 bis, ideale per i prodotti che si prestano a essere confezionati in vassoio o in vaschetta, e la VR-7 nata pensando alle verdure “verdi” e a foglia (dalle zucchine alle lattughe…) ma adatta ai vari tipi di prodotti sfusi. La prima è una macchina versatile, corredata di trasportatori speciali e di tutti gli accessori in grado di caratterizzarne la personalizzazione, secondo le richieste specifiche di ciascun cliente. La seconda flow pack, invece, è destinata a confezionare in sacchetti prodotti anche di grandi dimensioni o forme particolari; inoltre la testata di tipo traslante permette di effettuare saldature di precisione, a tenuta di gas. Opera a una velocità di 20 m/min, con vari film termosaldanti in bobine da 900 mm di larghezza massima". Nella gamma della RGD Packaging si trovano molti altri modelli di confezionatrici, anche verticali (eventualmente dotate di bilance multiteste o di pesatrici), che l’azienda veneta propone con successo nell’ortofrutta, dove serve imprese grandi e piccole, aziende agricole, cooperative nonché catene distributive. "Preso nel suo insieme - commenta Rigon - in Italia il comparto ortofrutticolo si muove a ritmi ben più lenti di quelli che riscontriamo, per esempio, in Spagna. Tuttavia si muove, e lo conferma anche il Macfrut dove, di anno in anno, il livello dell'offerta tecnologica aumenta, in relazione a una domanda di mercato sempre più evoluta".
Flow-pack for fruit and vegetables
At the last Macfrut, RGD Packaging presented two flow-packs for the packaging of fruit and vegetables in trays or dishes and in bags.
30 years of operation, of which 15 have been largely devoted to fruit and vegetables (the other traditional outlet sector is that of “white art”); 75% of exports (but this year there has also been greater growth in Italy); 2 production subsidiaries in Spain, which serve the areas of Spain, Portugal and France; a new headquarters, still in the Verona area, which will be in operation shortly. With these credentials and an ever-wider and more complete range of machines, RGD Packaging was present at the last Macfrut, where it exhibited two flow-pack lines dedicated to the fruit and vegetable sector. Also, to get round the limited space which characterises the Cesena event, they also “exhibited” both videos of packaging machines working in customers’ plants, and several illuminated hoardings with images of their most important horizontal and vertical machines, for which there was no room at the exhibition.
"At this year’s Macfrut - explained the owner’s daughter - we concentrated on the VR-1 bis, which is ideal for products which need to be packed in trays or dishes, and the VR-7 designed for ‘green’ and leaf vegetables (from courgettes to lettuce, etc.) but also suitable for many types of loose products. The first is a versatile machine, fitted with special conveyors and every accessory, capable of being customised according to the customer’s specific requirements. The second flow-pack, on the other hand, is intended for packing products, including those of large size or special shapes, in bags. Also, the transfer-type head allows precision gastight welding to be carried out. It operates at a speed of 20 metres/min with several types of heat-welded film in reels of a maximum width of 900 mm". In the RGD Packaging range there are many other models of packaging machines, including vertical (which can be fitted with multi-head scales or weighing machines), which the Veneto company successfully provides to the fruit and vegetable sector, where its customers are both large and small companies, agricultural estates and co-operatives, as well as distribution chains.
"All in all - says Rigon - in Italy the fruit and vegetable sector is moving much more slowly than those we find in, for example, Spain. Nevertheless it is moving, and this is confirmed at Macfrut where, from year to year, the level of the technological range is increasing, in response to demand from an ever more developed market".

Print quality, safety and cost-effectiveness: these are the characteristics that the Fiorini International Group has integrated in a single product. A bi-component bag and/or roll designed for the food sector, it will be presented during Cibus Tec in Parma (this forthcoming 20th - 25th October). Consisting of paper and polypropylene, it complies with European food standards and is produced using a new-concept laminating machine (recently bought by the company) capable of performing various operations: lacquering, laminating, die-cutting/laminating and distribution of heatseal lacquers. The bi-component bag can be provided with a clear window for better contents visibility, as in the case of pasta, biscuits, polenta and legumes. Available in various formats (8÷24 cm wide, 20÷45 cm high and 4÷18 cm deep), it's the perfect means for brand enhancement, even visible when sitting vertical on display stands, and is cost-effective at the same time. The bi-component bag and/or roll is exported to various European countries and is already used by important clients.
