Codificatore a getto d’inchiostro 1310
Il nuovo Willett 1310 esalta al massimo grado la produttività delle linee, visto che è stato progettato per fermarsi e ripartire senza bisogno di pulire manualmente la testa di stampa: dispone infatti di un sistema automatico di pulizia dell’ugello che permette di eliminare la manutenzione ordinaria. Impiegato nella GDO e nei settori alimentare, farmaceutico, automotive ecc., Willett 1310 stampa sette tipi diversi di codici a barre, testi alfanumerici, loghi, date di scadenza e codici variabili, su un’ampia varietà di imballaggi differenti. L’interfaccia operatore e il quadro di controllo risultano molto simili a quelli montati sui precedenti codificatori Willett, allo scopo di favorire il passaggio degli operatori alla nuova soluzione.
È stata inoltre aggiunta una memory card che facilita le operazioni d’impostazione, salvataggio e duplicazione dei parametri di stampa e dei messaggi da un codificatore all’altro. Da notare, poi, il sistema di riscaldamento ugello, capace di mantenere costante la viscosità dell’inchiostro (una soluzione ideale per tutti quegli ambienti con forti escursioni termiche) e la pompa meccanica che effettua un ciclo di pulizia dell’ugello anche durante i cali di tensione (utile per far ripartire subito il codificatore al ritorno della corrente elettrica). L’offerta comprende infine otto inchiostri diversi per garantire l’adesione e la durata del codice sulla maggior parte dei supporti (ogni tipo di plastica, film flessibili, metalli, vetro e cartone).
Stampante a trasferimento termico DataFlex®
La nuova DataFlex® Plus di Videojet-Willett assicura massima affidabilità, bassi costi di gestione e semplicità d’impiego per la codifica in linea di codici variabili (come la scadenza), lotti di produzione, ingredienti, codici a barre e loghi.
Il brevetto del traino elettronico del nastro, grazie ai due motori passo-passo, consente di avere un cassette-foil semplificato e di minimizzare i fermi macchina; in questo modo, è possibile inserire nastri lunghi 1.000 metri, riducendo così i frequenti cambi foil e aumentando l’efficienza delle linee. L’interfaccia utente si distingue per il touch-screen SVGA a colori da 8.4” e al menu grafico; lo schermo, inoltre, visualizza anteprime di stampa fedeli, annullando così il rischio d’errore da parte dell’operatore nella scelta dei codici. Per quanto riguarda le operazioni on-line, la sicurezza è garantita da tre livelli protetti da password.

Le connessioni esterne comprendono porte seriali, Ethernet e USB. Il sistema di trazione elettronico bidirezionale, infine, assicura il massimo utilizzo del nastro senza sprechi; addirittura, con la modalità interleaved (brevettata) si può utilizzare un nastro di 2.000 m dimezzando i costi di gestione.

Coding, according to Willett
News on the coding and heat transfer printing technologies by Willett and Videojet, two concerns recently included in the Danaher Group (USA). Willett Srl distributes, in Italy, the solutions cited in this page.
Inkjet coder 1310
The new Willett 1310 Willett inkjet coder enables attainment of the max uptime from all production lines, since it has been designed to start and stop without manual cleaning of the print head. The automatic nozzle cleaning system enables a drastic reduction of the ordinary maintenance of the said machine. Seven different types of barcodes, alphanumerical wording, logos, best before dates and variable codes on most packaging, from the pharmaceutical to the food sector, the automobile sector to products for broadscale distribution. The operator interface and the coding control are similar to the previous Willett coders, facilitating the users’ changeover to the new technology. For greater simplicity, a memory card capable of facilitating the setting, saving and duplication operations of the print parameters and the messages, from on 1310 to another has been provided. Willett 1310 has a nozzle heating system capable of keeping the ink viscosity constant, ideal for all environments with sharp changes in temperature. It is easily transportable from one line to another without problems; in the event of power cuts the mechanical pump carries out the nozzle cleaning cycle, so as to allow the coder to start up straight away once the power comes back on again. Lastly, eight different inks have been devised to guarantee adhesion and the duration of the code on most product packaging (all types of plastic, flexible films, metals, glass and cardboard).
Heat transfer printer DataFlex®
The new DataFlex® Plus printer by Videojet-Willett ensures max reliability, low running costs and userfriendliness for coding in line of variable codes (such as best before dates), production lot numbers, ingredients, barcodes and logos.
The patented electronic draw mechanism, thanks to the two step motors, enables a simplified foil-box and minimised downtime due to foil breakage.
This enables the insertion of ribbons 1,000 metres long, reducing the frequent foil changes and increasing the efficiency of the line. DataFlex Plus has an intuitive user interface, thanks to the SVGA 8.4” color touchscreen and the graphic menu. The screen enables faithful print previews, zeroing the risk of error by the operator in choosing the codes. Three levels of password offer max in-line security.
