Dates to be remembered. 15-18 maggio 2006 Appuntamento con la chimica Achema, la fiera-congresso internazionale dell’ingegneria chimica, della protezione ambientale e delle biotecnologie, approda alla ventottesima edizione. In programma dal 15 al 19 maggio 2006 a Frankfurt am Main, l’appuntamento intende confermare il suo ruolo di punto d’incontro preferenziale per l’intero settore dell’ingegneria chimica, offrendo al contempo una vetrina di rilievo internazionale per tutte le soluzioni tecnologiche ai vari problemi dell’industria del processo. Rendezvous with the chemistry sector Achema, the international fair-congress of chemical engineering, of environmental protection and biotechnologies, is now in its 28th edition. Scheduled 15th -19th May 2006 at Frankfurt am Main, the meeting intends confirming its role as a preferential meeting point for the entire chemical engineering sector, at the same time offering an important showcase of international standing for all the technological solutions and various problems of the processing industry. Imballaggio metallico a congresso - Il 21 aprile, all’apertura di Interpack 2005, si terrà a Düsseldorf l’International Steel Packaging Congress di Apeal. Nell’occasione saranno presentati i risultati di uno studio internazionale sui fattori in grado di incrementare l’impatto del packaging. Verranno inoltre annunciati i nomi dei vincitori del premio internazionale Steel Packaging Effectiveness 2005, volto a premiare le soluzioni di packaging metallico che si siano dimostrate particolarmente efficaci sul mercato. Steel Packaging Congress - The International Steel Packaging Congress will take place on the first day of Interpack 2005, Düsseldorf, on 21st April. During this event, an international reserch will be presented, revealing the factors increasing the impact of packaging at the point of sale. During the congress, the winners of the International Steel Packaging Effectiveness Award 2005 will also be announced. The award rewards those steel packaging solutions which have proven particularly effective in the market. Finat seminario tecnico - Budapest ospita a marzo (18-19) il seminario tecnico dell’associazione internazionale per la promozione dell’etichettatura autoadesiva. Accanto alle consuete istanze di aggiornamento (il tema di questa edizione è “Etichettatura autoadesiva, decorazione del prodotto e converting: trend e sviluppi tecnologici”), un occhio di riguardo sarà prestato agli operatori dei nuovi paesi membri UE. Accanto alla scelta della location, va infatti sottolineato che la partecipazione al seminario è aperta a tutte le aziende dell’Europa dell’Est, che siano o meno associate a Finat. Finat technical seminar - March 18th-19th Budapest will be hosting the technical seminar of the international association for promoting pressure sensitive labeling. Alongside the usual updates (the theme subject of this edition is “Pressure sensitive labeling, product decoration and converting: technological trends and developments”), attention will be turned to operators of the new EU member countries. Alongside the choice of location, it should be underlined that participation at the seminar is also open to all eastern European countries, be they members of Finat or not. 12-15 aprile 2005 Non tessuti alla ribalta Coprire, in un’unica manifestazione, tutto il processo di produzione dei materiali da imballaggio, con particolare attenzione alle tecniche di stampa. Questo l’obiettivo di “P”, nuovo evento con cadenza biennale organizzato da Fiera di Stoccarda. La struttura espositiva è articolata in tre aree principali (Materiali, Stampa&Trasformazione e Produzione di Materiali da imballaggio). Interessante il programma degli eventi collaterali: durante la fiera si terrà un forum, orientato all’utenza e dedicato a temi specifici quali scatole pieghevoli, pellicole, etichette, stampa & trasformazione. Da non dimenticare, infine, il congresso dei fabbricanti di inchiostro da stampa Zeller+Gmelin (ZG), centrato sulle problematiche relative alla stampa di contenitori preformati. Nonwovens in the limelight Record attendance for Index 05, world show in the nonwovens sector: over 400 exhibitors from 35 countries have confirmed their taking part, for an overall area of as much as 20500 m2. The show will be for the first time accompanied by a rich program of parallel events, such as technical seminars, encounters with sector operators and presentation of the latest nonwovens applications in various industries; not least, that of packaging, for which the “packaging intelligence” solutions and product conforming to the rigorous standards governing the control and recyclability of waste are currently being developed. 22-24 marzo Logistica in Tempo Reale La prossima SITL Temps Réel organizzata da Reed Expositions France trasloca al Parigi Expo Porte de Versailles e prevede la partecipazione di 350 espositori su 19.000 m2, con 15.000 visitatori. Intermezzo “light” della consolidata biennale francese della logistica (SITL), Temps Réel si svolge negli anni in cui non ha luogo la fiera madre e si focalizza, invece che sui prodotti e tecnologie per la logistica, sui grandi terzisti (Norbert Dentressangle, Geodis, FM Logistic…) che da soli costituiscono circa la metà degli espositori. Gli altri macro settori rappresentati sono: sistemi informativi (30%), infrastrutture (15%) e immobili (5%). Fra le novità di quest’anno spiccano la riduzione dei costi di esposizione (-13% al m2) e il potenziamento del Business Club creato per agevolare l’incontro fra domanda e offerta. Real Time Logistics The forthcoming SITL Temps Réel organised by Reed Expositions France moves to the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles and is expected to have 350 exhibitors on 19,000 m2, with 15,000 visitors. A “light” intermezzo of the well-established biennial French logistics show (SITL), Temps Réel takes place on those years between those of the major fair and, instead of logistics products and technology, focuses on the big service providers (Norbert Dentressangle, Geodis, FM Logistic…) which alone account for about half the exhibitors. The other macro sectors represented are information systems (30%), infrastructure (15%) and property (5%). Novelties this year include the lower exhibition costs (-13% per m2) and boosting of the Business Club created to facilitate encounters between demand and supply. 31 marzo-2 aprile Metallo liquido a Eurostampi (Parma) La manifestazione (ulteriori informazioni su www.senaf.it) ospita la seconda edizione de il “Viale dei materiali Innovativi”, una rassegna che offre una chiave di lettura multidisciplinare delle potenzialità di ogni materiale. Di sicuro interesse, quelli che sono stati definiti i metalli amorfi o liquidi, con caratteristiche tipiche dei metalli e del vetro insieme (elasticità elevata, durezza, resistenza alla corrosione) ma che possono essere iniettati come un polimero e ottenere quindi forme complesse se non, addirittura, particolari quasi finiti, riducendo al minimo la necessità di lavorazioni meccaniche. Tra le altre innovazioni, ricordiamo le schiume metalliche realizzabili in diverse tipologie di lega metallica (alluminio, rame, acciaio, piombo…), traspiranti e termicamente conduttive; e, ancora, i pigmenti cangianti con struttura multistrato sottile, capaci di conferire a vernici, rivestimenti, materiali plastici, tessuti e materiali per imballaggio la proprietà di cambiare colore al variare dell’angolo di osservazione. Liquid metal at Eurostampi (Parma) - The event (further information on www.senaf.it) will host the second edition of “Road of innovatory materials”, a show that offers a multidisciplinary reading of the potentials of each material. Of sure interest those that are defined as amorphous or liquid metals with the typical characteristics of metals and glass put together (high elasticity, hardness, corrosion resistance) but that can also be injected with a polymer and hence take on complex shapes and even almost finished details, reducing the need for mechanical processing down to a minimum. Among the other innovations, we cite the metal foams that can come in different types of metal alloy (aluminium, copper, steel, lead…), transpirant and thermally conductive; and again, the iridescent pigments with thin multilayer structure, capable of giving lacquers, coatings, plastic material, fabrics and packaging material the property of changing color as the onlooker changes his angle of observation. 12-17 settembre Espositori a Drinktec Lo scorso dicembre, Fiera di Monaco ha comunicato il numero (ancora parziale) delle adesioni alla prossima edizione di Drinktec: 1.400 espositori da 50 Paesi; per quanto riguarda invece i visitatori, gli organizzatori prevedono un’affluenza di quasi 80.000 unità. Per l’esordio si attendono 120 espositori su circa 5.000 m2 di spazio espositivo, e circa 4.000 visitatori. Nata come “costola” di Sitl (il salone francese della logistica), di cui l’anno scorso occupava un’area dedicata, scommette sull’espansione di una tecnologia sostenuta dalle crescenti esigenze di tracciabilità delle merci e razionalizzazione dei flussi. Accanto all’esposizione tradizionale e alle conferenze di dimostrazione dei prodotti, la nuova fiera ospiterà la "Rfid University": un programma organico di interventi che intendono approfondire i concreti problemi applicativi. Nel corso della manifestazione, una giuria di esperti assegnerà il Rfid Award alla migliore innovazione. Rfid 2005 makes its debut in Paris Called Rfid 2005, this new fair will take place at the Palais des Congrès in Paris and is presented by the organisers (Reed Expositions France) as the first European show entirely dedicated to automatic radio frequency identification. Some 120 exhibitors on roughly 5,000 m2 exhibition space and 4,000 odd visitors are expected to take part in the debut. Conceived as a “rib” to Sitl (the French logistics show) with a dedicated area last year's edition, the new fair is gambling on the expansion of a technology serving a growing need in goods tracing and flow rationalisation. As well as offering a traditional fair and product demonstration conferences, this new show will host the "Rfid University": a structured program of speeches to provide an in-depth look at specific application problems.
