GRANDI TEMI Mai Interpack è stata così grande come quest’anno: 160 mila m2 di superficie espositiva netta, 18 padiglioni tutti prenotati da tempo. Produttori di macchine e materiali per l’imballaggio attendono oltre 170 mila visitatori.
E gli italiani? La compagine nazionale, seconda solo alla Germania, riconferma il proprio ruolo trainante occupando circa 30 mila m2 del Messegelände.
Di Interpack sembra sempre di aver già detto tutto, eppure, dopo diciassette edizioni, riesce ancora a stupire. Non foss’altro per l’energia che Messe Düsseldorf continua a porre nell’ampliare gli spazi e nel concretizzare proposte nuove, che testimoniano la realtà di un progetto in divenire incentrato sull’imballaggio. La fiera mondiale delle macchine e dei prodotti per il confezionamento e il processo, in calendario dal 21 al 27 aprile 2005 prossimi, sarà guidata da un nuovo responsabile, Bernd Jablonowski, che gestirà un business imponente (basti pensare che l’edizione 2002 ha visto la presenza di 174 mila visitatori provenienti da 103 Paesi) e a cui è stata anche affidato il compito di mettere a punto il concept fieristico.
Informazioni pratiche
Accessibile al pubblico ogni giorno dalle 10.00 alle 18.00, il comprensorio fieristico di Düsseldorf, a metà strada tra l'aeroporto e il centro città, è stato modernizzato e ampliato, risultando ancor più confortevole per espositori e visitatori. I padiglioni sono tutti climatizzati e le superfici espositive sono dislocate sempre a piano terra.
Il che si traduce in facilità di montaggio e smontaggio degli stand, agevolando la movimentazione dei prodotti e degli impianti più ingombranti e pesanti.
Gli scambi all’interno della fiera sono facilitati dal servizio di bus navetta e dalla presenza di passerelle coperte, che collegano i padiglioni tra di loro.
La stazione della metropolitana è direttamente collegata all'ingresso Nord (anch’esso completamente ristrutturato) e sono stati ulteriormente potenziate le aree dei servizi, con negozi, mezzi di comunicazione, servizi di dattilografia e traduzione, il centro stampa per giornalisti, il check-in Lufthansa, banche, ristoranti e zone relax.
Se comprato in anticipo, il biglietto giornaliero costa 35 euro (in fiera: 55 euro), e quello valido per tre giorni 80 Euro (in fiera 120 euro). Sono previsti sconti per studenti e apprendisti (12 Euro).
Tanto i biglietti d'ingresso quanto le tessere espositori autorizzano tra l’altro i viaggi gratuiti di andata e ritorno in fiera sui mezzi pubblici delle reti del Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr (VRR) e del Verkehrsverbundes Rhein-Sieg (VRS).
Rispetto al passato, dunque, la zona in cui è valida la convenzione, è stata notevolmente ampliata fino a comprendere molte città vicine a Düsseldorf.
Su questo numero di Italiaimballaggio: per enfatizzare il peso della “compagine” italiana a Duesseldorf, abbiamo realizzato una sorta di “servizio fotografico”, presentazione in forma sintetica di prodotti e macchine esposti in fiera.

Interpack
“The” fair
GREAT THEMES - Interpack has never been so big as it is this year: 160 thousand sq m of net exhibition space, 18 pavilions all booked some time ahead. The packaging machines and materials producers expect over 170 thousand visitors. And the Italians? The Italian grouping, second only to Germany, reconfirms its driving role occupying around 30 thousand sq m of Messegelände.
It always seems we have said everything about Interpack, and even so, after seventeen editions, the event still manages to surprise us. If nothing other than for the energy that Messe Düsseldorf continues to bring in broadening the spaces and creating new proposals that bear witness to a project in the making centred on packaging.
The world packaging and processing machines and products fair, scheduled from 21st to 27th April 2005, will be directed by a new head, Bernd Jablonowski, who will administer an imposing business (one only has to think that the 2002 edition saw the presence of 174 thousand visitors from 103 countries) and who has been charged with devising the fair concept.
Practical information
Accessible to the public each day from 10 am to 6 pm, the Düsseldorf fair ground, halfway between the airport and the city centre, has been modernised and extended, now being even more convenient for exhibitors and visitors alike. The pavilions are all air-conditioned and the exhibition surfaces are all on the ground floor. Which means easy assembly and disassembly of stands, facilitating the handling of products and the more bulky and heavier systems. Exchanges inside the fair are facilitated by the shuttle service and the presence of covered walkways that connect the pavilions up together. The underground station is directly connected to the North entrance (this too completely restructured) and service areas have been even further strengthened, with shops, communication areas, typing and translation services as well as a press centre, Lufthansa check-in, banks, restaurants and rest areas.
If bought in advance the daily ticket costs 35 Euros (in the fair: 55 Euros) and that valid for 3 days 80 Euros (in the fair 120 Euros). There are reductions for students and apprentices (12 Euros). Both the entry tickets and the exhibitor ID cards among other things authorise free return trips to the fair on public transport in the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr (VRR) and the Verkehrsverbundes Rhein-Sieg (VRS). Compared to the past hence the area in which the agreement was valid has been considerably extended to include many towns close to Düsseldorf.
In this issue of ItaliaImballaggio: to emphasize the weight of the Italian “grouping” at Düsseldorf we have created a sort of “photo service”, a synthetic presentation of products and machines on show at the fair. We thank all those who have taken part in the undertaking.
