News DEDICATO AI PROFESSIONISTI Annunciati i motivi che domineranno la sesta edizione della fiera vicentina Impatec: specializzazione, innovazione, legami più stretti con il territorio, uno sguardo attento all’est europeo e… al futuro. La sesta edizione di Impatec, manifestazione organizzata da Fiera di Vicenza e dedicata alle macchine, ai materiali, ai prodotti e ai servizi per l’industria dell’imballaggio, si svolgerà dal 12 al 14 ottobre 2006, in tre padiglioni (12 mila m2) del quartiere fieristico vicentino. Secondo le previsioni, ospiterà circa 160 espositori, provenienti per lo più dalle regioni del nord e centro Italia. Dalla prima edizione del 1998 (quando gli espositori erano una settantina circa) la crescita della manifestazione è stata dunque progressiva, oltre che per il numero delle presenze anche per la qualità dei servizi offerti e dell’evoluzione del concept. Sfruttando le sinergie con un territorio fortemente industrializzato, dove tra l’altro l’industria del confezionamento ha numerosi testimonial d’eccezione, Impatec oggi è, a tutti gli effetti, una fiera “ad alto tasso di specializzazione”, crocevia di scambi di informazioni e di tecnologie dedicate. «Questo perché - spiega Corrado Facco, segretario generale Fiera di Vicenza - il salone ha fatto tesoro della propria collocazione geografica in un tessuto produttivo fra i più avanzati d’Italia, e con in più una spiccata specializzazione nella costruzione di macchine per il confezionamento alimentare e non. L’ampia articolazione dell’offerta trova riscontro nelle soluzioni dedicate all’intero ciclo produttivo: dal processo al packaging e ai prodotti per la movimentazione e lo stoccaggio, il tutto articolato su macroaree tematiche (packaging farmaceutico, cosmetico e chimico, etichettatura e tracciabilità del prodotto). Inoltre, l’innovazione “ospitata” a vario titolo presso gli spazi espositivi consentirà di continuare il dialogo aperto con gli operatori negli anni passati, in un confronto fatto di scambi proficui e di reciproco aggiornamento». Le vie dell’innovazione Le iniziative in programma per il 2006 sono lo specchio dell’evoluzione del concept di Impatec, che offre parecchi spunti di novità: a partire dal logo che, rivisitato nelle forme, nei colori e nel lettering, rimanda a un messaggio più deciso e di immediata interpretazione. Oltre che come punto di raccolta di soluzioni tecnologiche dedicate all’imballaggio, la fiera si propone come spazio concreto per un incontro tra domanda e offerta, dove sviluppare opportunità di business. • Grazie al coinvolgimento dell’Istituto per il Commercio Estero, verranno ad esempio organizzate oltre 20 delegazioni di operatori, provenienti fondamentalmente dall’Europa Centro-Orientale: Vicenza si propone dunque come bacino strategico, da cui attingere informazioni e soluzioni tecnologiche. • Il programma di scambi viene ampiamente sostenuto dagli organizzatori, che si faranno carico di organizzare incontri B2B con gli espositori, programmati per tempo e che si svolgeranno in aree apposite. • Impatec offre il destro a Fiera di Vicenza per avviare un percorso che conduce alla realizzazione di una manifestazione, in grado di coprire il mercato della sicurezza industriale, argomento che si annuncia altamente strategico per tutti i settori produttivi, in particolare quello dell’automazione. Con sicurezza industriale si intende infatti quell’insieme di componenti, macchine, software e sistemi che attuano tecnicamente quanto prescritto dalle norme per condurre in sicurezza impianti, macchine e processi industriali. Ecco dunque che l’edizione 2006 di Impatec - inserita a ragione veduta tra le Fiere dell’Innovazione organizzate a Vicenza - ospiterà per prima l’area tematica SIN - Sicurezza Industriale. Si tratta di un modulo flessibile, una mostra-convegno trasversale a svariate manifestazioni (tra cui ricordiamo Microelettronica, in programma tra il 15 e il 17 marzo 2007) capace di conformarsi alle specificità dei singoli mercati. I momenti di approfondimento nel corso della tre giorni veneta, tuttavia, non si esauriscono qui. • Tre sono infatti i convegni specialistici messi a punto in collaborazione con l’Università di Bologna e la Società Chimica Italiana. I temi toccati saranno: la sicurezza industriale nell’automazione di processo, le nuove soluzioni per contenitori di prodotti chimico-farmaceutici, la tracciabilità dei prodotti chimico-farmaceutici. • In conclusione, ricordiamo la contemporaneità con AS-i Village. L’evento, che avrà per tema “L’automazione in un unico villaggio”, è stato progettato e sviluppato in collaborazione con AS-i Italia, l’associazione che promuove AS-Interface, la sofisticata tecnologia di connessione tra i sensori e i sistemi, che facilita enormemente l’installazione e la manutenzione dei sistemi di automazione, il cui impiego può portare a significative riduzioni dei costi per la realizzazione di un impianto: fino al 40-50% per l’installazione e fino all’80% per la manutenzione. Lo dimostrerà, tra l’altro, una macchina demo interoperativa, esposta per la prima volta in Italia, costruita con prodotti di oltre 30 aziende tra le principali del settore automazione e sicurezza industriale. The sixth edition of Impatec, show organized by the Fiera di Vicenza and dedicated to machines, materials, products and services for the packaging industry, will be held from 12th to 14th October 2006, in three halls (12 thousand sq m) at the Vicenza trade fair quarters. Around 160 exhibitors are expected, for the most from northern and central Italy. From the first edition in 1998 (featuring around seventy exhibitors) the growth of the show has hence been progressive which, over and beyond the number of presences also to be rated in terms of the quality of the services offered and the evolution of the concept behind the show. Exploiting the synergies with a strongly industrialised area, where among other things the packaging industry has numerous first rate testimonials, Impatec is today to all intents and purposes a fair “with a high degree of specialisation”, crossroads for information exchanges and dedicated technology. “Indeed - Corrado Facco, general secretary of Fiera di Vicenza explains - the show has been able to make the most of its geographic location amidst a productive tissue among the most advanced in the whole of Italy, and what is more with decided specialisation in food packaging machine construction and like areas. The broad array of goods and services on offer features solutions dedicated to the entire production cycle: from process to packaging, from packaging to handling and storage equipment, all of which divided up into thematic macro areas (pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and chemical packaging, labeling and product track & trace). As well as that, the innovation “hosted” to various degrees in the exhibition spaces, will enable a continuation of the open dialogue with operators started up in former years, in an exchange that is everybody’s advantage, leading to reciprocal updating”. The roads to innovation The undertakings scheduled for 2006 reflect the evolution of the concept behind Impatec, featuring various new aspects: starting off from the logo, that has been revamped in form, color and lettering, making it even more decidedly eyecatching. As well as a gathering point for technological solutions for packaging, the fair also offers itself as a concrete space for encounter between supply and demand, where business opportunities can be developed. • For example, thanks to the involvement of the Italian Institute for Foreign Trade (ICE), over 20 delegations of operators are being organised, mainly from central-eastern Europe: hence Vicenza presents itself as a strategic catchment area for obtaining information and technological solutions. • The program of exchanges is broadly supported by the organizers, who will take on the organization of B2B encounters with the exhibitors, programmed in advance and fielded in three special areas. • Impatec is also an opening gambit for a new feature, setting the Fiera di Vicenza on the path that could lead to the start-up of a show capable of covering and catering for the market for industrial safety, subject that is announced as highly strategic for all production sectors, in particular as regards automation. By industrial safety is in fact meant that conglomeration of components, machines, software and systems that technically actuate what has been laid down in the standards for the safe running of systems, machines and industrial processes. Hence the 2006 edition of Impatec - that rightly holds pride of place among the Fairs featuring innovation organized at Vicenza - will be the first to host SIN - Sicurezza Industriale, an industrial safety theme area. This comes in the form of a flexible module, a show-convention cutting across and relevant to various events (among which we cite Microelettronica, scheduled from 15th to 17th March 2007) capable of conforming to the specific nature of the single markets. However, opportunities for further in-depth study during the three day Veneto event do not stop here. • Indeed, three special conventions organized in cooperation with the University of Bologna and the Società Chimica Italiana have been scheduled. The subjects touched on will be: industrial safety in process automation, the new solutions for chemical-pharmaceutical product containers, the traceability of chemical-pharmaceutical products. • In conclusion, we underline the fact that the show is being held at the same time as AS-i Village. This event, that covers the subject “Automation in one single village” has been devised and developed in cooperation with AS-i Italy, the association the promotes AS-Interface, the sophisticated technology for connecting sensors and systems that enormously facilitates the installation and the maintenance of automation systems, the use of which can lead to significant cost reductions when creating and setting up a system: up to 40-50% for installation and up to 80% speaking in terms of maintenance. This will among other things be demonstrated by an interoperative demo, on show featuring the first time in Italy, compiled of products of over 30 concerns among the leading lights in the automation and industrial safety sector.
